01/04/2024: Very pleasant hotel and restaurant. I have been staying there on business trips for over twenty years and also stay there on personal trips. Comfortable accommodation. Table that I highly recommend. A pleasure stay.

25/03/2024: A lovely generous lunch on the sunny terrace, choice of savory tarts and cakes. A great place for real homemade food, a top vegetarian option and a killer dessert!
03/01/2024: Unique and very atypical address in Villefranche. Serene atmosphere. The manager cares about the customer. Hot drinks and tea are delicious. I highly recommend the lemon meringue tart, a treat!

03/04/2024: Practical because located close to the car parks. It doesn't have the Home cooking effect for certain dishes like Aligot but it was edible all the same. For the Caesar salad, the chickens also smelled of fried industrial defrosting. On the other hand, the apple pastis was homemade, you could feel it, you could see it and I really enjoyed it. If I come back to the area I make myself a coffee and apple pastis. FYI, pastis means cake, there is no pastis in this dessert which is a pure treat. A small downside, remember to remove the cobwebs that decorate the paintings on the covered terrace, that would be more effective

02/04/2024: Satisfied during my first visit a few years ago, I'm not suggesting this restaurant to a friend! After having reserved we arrive at this place where nothing was prepared, neither the waiter nor the cook. We order our entrecôtes as well as a glass of wine, no fries because they no longer make them! After a long time, there was no one in the restaurant, a piece of hard barbaque arrived, barely defrosted and very cooked! Nothing what we were hoping for...All that with at the end "the meat was good?" and "No dessert, so you ate well?" Besides, not cheap. Awkward situation!! I will never come back to this place.
19/02/2024: Reserving on the internet can be good, but saying that the restaurant is open on a Sunday evening, that reservations are possible, reserving a table with my daughter, arriving and realizing that the restaurant is closed, that's ugly. On a Sunday evening, finding another restaurant in Villefranche de Rouergue is almost impossible. So I find it regrettable to offer to book online with poor opening hours, and I would not try the experience again. Change the info. THANKS

06/11/2023: I give 5 stars for serving us after hours, and they also let us bring the dog in and eat inside since it was quite cold outside. It's a bar, they only had entrecôte with fries, it was perfect. And for dessert the creme brule was very good. Don't expect anything aesthetic or finesse. It is a place to pass through and the treatment and price are perfect for what it is.
