04/01/2026: When you enter, you're immediately immersed in the authentic winstub atmosphere. Once seated by the fireplace, the staff's welcome is incredible; you instantly feel at ease, like family or friends, but without being overly familiar, remaining respectful of the customer. This alone makes you want to return! The food is very good. The tarte flambée as a starter was excellent, though the pastry could have used a little more salt for my personal taste (I love salt!). Then came the ham hock with Munster cheese and sautéed potatoes, very good; the cordon bleu with Munster cheese was also very good; and the tender sirloin steak with a cognac-glazed pepper sauce was excellent. A word of caution for those who don't like strong flavors: the side dishes were very good, including salted turnips, small mashed potatoes, and small vegetables in a ratatouille style. The portions are very generous, and even as someone with a hearty appetite, it filled me up nicely. To finish, the Alsatian Irish and the "3 Roses" wine were both delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant and will return with great pleasure.
