02/09/2024: Close to some traffic, but still in a nice location. Unfortunately, tarte flambée is very black. If necessary, you should point out beforehand that you would like it to be lighter. The Baeckeoffe was pretty soupy, but we don't know what it's supposed to be like in real life. Had to be seasoned properly.
Creme brulee was very tasty and freshly flambéed.
The waiter was nice and everything else was fine.
08/08/2024: Tasty dishes but the cake was very good but a little expensive for my taste.
Very good daily specials and a fair price.😊

07/09/2024: Le cadre est paisible et comme un dîner en pleine forêt. Le service était efficace, aimable et discret. Tous les plats choisis étaient bons. J'ai apprécié de pouvoir changer des ingrédients de mon plat qui ne me convenaient pas. On s'est sentis extrêmement bien là bas et avons même prolongé la soirée en buvant chacun 2 tisanes pour prolonger ce bon moment.
04/09/2024: Excellent value for money. Pleasant aperitif, (regional wine) Harmonious and fresh mixed salad, tender steak, caramelized shallot sauce, delicious fries! Generous cup of ice cream, thanks to the brunette waitress and the cook who also stopped by to greet the customers, finally terrace in a green setting!

06/09/2024: 42 minutes to be served, out of the four pizzas two were almost cooked, one was charcoal and for the last one we had to wait ten minutes more.
The glass of Gewurztraminer has twice been transformed into Rìeslìng.
No exterior lighting.
Nice setting on the water's edge.
Trap tourists.
Avoided.
03/09/2024: The restaurant is right on the bridge with a beautiful terrace right on the water.
I had a carpaccio pizza that looked and tasted very good.
The service was very friendly and accommodating.
All in all a nice end to a lovely day of vacation in Strasbourg.

14/09/2024: Great experience just a stone's throw from Petite France.
Very welcoming staff, magnificent terrace by the water, far from the crowds.
Very reasonable prices to share a beer and a tarte flambée.
14/09/2024: Waiter very friendly, speaks good German, tarte flambée as a starter, then great fillet of beef, salmon, fries, everything tasted good, hot, short waiting time, right by the river on the terrace. We were very satisfied. Price was also cheap compared to the old town around the cathedral. Gladly again. Doris oo Harald from the Black Forest.

But today the 1900 baguette was really bad, chewing gum. I have given them one last chance several times and with each new visit, the disappointment is a little greater. Expanding only makes sense if you know how to deal with it…
In the absence of a good bakery in the area, I will just freeze the bread that I will buy in quantity from a place that is worth it. But it won't be here.

04/09/2024: When we brought the cookies we bought from this shop on 28.08.2024 home 3 days later during our touristic trip, there were maggots in them. I was sorry for the money I spent and had to throw it away before even tasting it. I wish the store had the opportunity to resend the same product by cargo, I would be very happy because I bought it with great curiosity.
01/08/2024: Very bad experience is this store. Not welcomed, when asking for some advice, the person working here doesn’t care and leaves.
Go elsewhere in the real center of Strasbourg with nicer people.

10/09/2024: Vue de l’extérieur c’est grandiose, vue sur le fleuve, terrasse fleurie et ombragée. Mais, déplaisante invasion de guêpes.
Les plats :
-Salade césar au poulet non pané, (ce n’est donc pas une salade césar).
-La flammekueche (avec supplément moustiques).
Ce n’était pas terrible.
04/09/2024: Eten was koud opgediend, koude steak (wat amper een steak kon noemen, doordat deze flinterdun is was deze uitgebakken terwijl saignant gevraagd was) en koude frieten ( + mayo gevraagd en niet gekregen).
Zeer drukke, chaotische bediening wat heel onaangenaam en gejaagd aanvoelt.
Steak tartare was wel handgesneden en lekker.

25/08/2024: We were my wife, me and my visually impaired brother-in-law, he orders fries, veal, mushroom cream sauce, salad, he gets pork all hard, no salad and not his mushroom cream sauce, it's a scandal, being visually impaired does not mean not having any taste we will not come back and neither does everyone around us lack respect for disability
14/08/2024: Overall good, not much waiting.
The dish of the day is copious (filet mignon with cream, salad fries) at around €16 with a red Carola.
On the other hand, I did not appreciate the toilets which could be cleaned from time to time. Otherwise it was 5/5.

04/09/2024: we decided to go to the cafe to try the flambé, but we were very disappointed. The service is terrible. The waiters did not respond when we called them, ignored our requests, treated us with disdain. The food takes a very long time to prepare and was served cold. I hope that whoever reads this review will not go here because it is really a terrible place
01/09/2024: The pizza was okay. The chicken burger was unfortunately subpar. Old meat, totally dried on the edge, 10 grams of salad and a small portion of fries, which were also bad. When I was clearing away I pointed out the dried, inedible piece of chicken and said that in my opinion it was old meat and not edible. All that came was a tired smile and an apology. In my opinion, a coffee on the house or a reduction in the already high price would have been the least. But of course: many tourists who won't come back anyway. You can just allow yourself that. It's a shame...

Very disappointed with my treatment in this restaurant, slow and fragmented reception, they only have a few seconds to devote to me each time they ask me for information before leaving (health pass, reservation, good smartbox... ). The table I was seated at was sandwiched between two other full tables, so tightly packed that I had to move my table to be seated there.
The icing on the cake was that I had informed the restaurant that I wanted to use a box (they had not told me anything about specific support), but the manager refused the paperless voucher via the official Smartbox application, which nevertheless explains Very good process and transfer by email. He just looks very falsely "sorry", leaves to take care of other customers, is haughty and doesn't deign to listen to me when I try to explain to him the procedure which is nevertheless simple. He didn't care at all about losing a customer, and made that clear to me without any attempt to be discreet or polite, even out of respect for the customers at the adjacent tables, witnesses in spite of themselves...
No sign of politeness, or attempt at discussion, or invitation to come back later with a good paper...
I don't know if this very unpleasant, even humiliating and infantilizing service was only reserved for Smartbox users, but I certainly would not recommend this restaurant.

19/09/2024: Heerlijk wijntje gedronken. We willen er iets bij voor de lekkere trek en werden top geadviseerd de tarte du jour te nemen. Leuk terras, gezellig en gastvrij!
31/08/2024: I crostoni di pane farciti in vario modo sono la specialità di questo locale informale a pochi passi dalla cattedrale di Strasburgo.Possono essere caldi o freddi e vengono serviti accompagnati da abbondanti verdure.
Una buona soluzione per una cena non impegnativa.
In due, abbiamo consumato un crostone farcito a testa con contorno, accompagnato da un aperitivo alcolico spendendo 51 euro.
