13/08/2024: We booked well in advance and rang to change the time to an hour later. This was accepted. There was some mix up but the manager was rude and aggressive . Not apologetic nor accommodating at all. Given the attitude maybe it was as well that we had to go elsewhere

29/08/2024: L’endroit fait de ce restaurant un piège à touriste. À part de tourner comme des hélices, sans connaître l’emplacement des tables. Trois tentatives de nous servir l’apéritif que nous avions commandé ! Les serveurs doivent avoir l’interdiction de sourire. Vraiment tous crispés ! Aucun plaisir..!! Les tartes flambées étaient bonnes, à voir les assiettes de nos voisins, cela avait l’air bon et bien servi. C’est certain on n’y retournera pas !

19/08/2024: Fresh and tasty dishes in a calm atmosphere. Pleasant service. We have lunch there regularly, an address to recommend. We were having lunch on the terrace with friends when we witnessed the person passing on the sidewalk and on his scooter who almost ran over the waitress and took the liberty of expressing a negative opinion when he was at fault, very aggressive and rude instead of just apologizing.

25/09/2024: Having classes right next door, I was able to eat there many lunches, the quality of the meals is always there and the employees always chat with customers with good humor and a good touch of humor. As a bonus, the small promotional offer adapted to student budgets, go there with your eyes closed.

01/12/2024: Compré 2 paquetes separados de galletas por 25 euros. Más tarde me enteré de que me cobraron dos veces por esta compra. Volvió para pedir un reembolso por una de las compras y fue reprendido por la persona grosera que dejó caer galletas en el suelo, lo recogió y ofreció que fuera como la "segunda" compra. Servicio increíblemente grosero.

25/09/2024: petite boulangerie en plein centre-ville. Joli terrasse. Les viennoiseries sont bonnes et les prix corrects. Bon endroit pour boire un petit café.

30/07/2024: We like coffee especially flat white on alternative milk, such as oat milk or coconut milk. So in Strasbourg not many coffee shops which serve this kind coffee. I want to say that this Tonton gâteau cafe is one of the best and delicious coffee so far in Strasbourg. So if you want to try good coffee - it’s the right place. Also location is very good as well. Parking place is right behind the corner. Very convenient.

30/07/2024: Amazing food for a quick lunch, they have both savory and sweet options. Everything is very delicious! The staff is also super nice and polite!

02/01/2026: Weekend Stay... For the deluxe room... Tiny room... Very little hot water... Very small shower... No bathrobe... No slippers... For the spa... Reservations by one-hour slot... In the end, the spa was packed, we couldn't do anything... Jacuzzi was lukewarm... No changing room... Meals... Apart from a room presumably reserved for Weekend Stay guests, the menu choice... On a simple sheet of paper placed on a board... with only two choices for the meal... No choice for the starter or dessert... The meal was deplorable and tasteless... Profiteroles for dessert... It's a disgrace to call them profiteroles... Two botched, flat cream puffs placed on a plate with a scoop of ice cream... The waiter was completely incompetent... And a meal costing 50 euros... You can eat better for less at McDonald's... Result: first and last time we'll come...

08/07/2024: Vraiment bluffant. Le personnel très sympa et notre serveur était incroyable. La nourriture est excellente et le débrief à la fin est convivial et interessant. Nous avons adoré l'expérience. Nous étions 4 personnes - 2 couples et la soirée était des plus agréables et surprenantes.

28/04/2024: Ein absolut einmaliges Erlebnis! Ich hatte Anfangs keine Ahnung was auf uns zu kommt. Bereits bei der Buchung konnte man Allergien und Abneigungen gegen Speisen Lebensmittel angeben. 2 Tage vorher bekommt man nochmals eine Nachricht um evtl etwas zu ergänzen. Es war für mich als Geburtstagsessen geplant. Wir wurden super freundlich von 3 Damen empfangen, die uns alles erklärt haben und uns Jacken, Handys und Taschen abgenommen haben, da diese draußen bleiben müssen, damit die Kellner nicht stolpern. Die Kellner sind nämlich alle blind, bzw stark sehbehindert. Nach kurzer Wartezeit hat uns unser Kellner Taa'a freundlich empfangen. Taa'a ist komplett blind... Wir wurden dann von ihm in die völlige Dunkelheit gebracht und an unseren Tisch geleitet. Er hat uns alles erklärt wo was liegt. Dann kam auch schon der Begrüßungs Cocktail und Brot. Beides absolut lecker und Frisch. Dann kam das Essen... Es war ein absoluter Genuss! Und man hat definitiv viel langsamer und achtsamer gegessen, da man ja nicht wusste was es gibt. Als besonderes Highlight habe ich das Dessert empfunden. Da ich und andere Gäste Geburtstag hatten, wurde noch für uns gesungen... Die Zeit verging wie im Flug und nach knapp 2 Stunden gingen alle zur Nachbesprechung in eine Sitzecke. Dort hat man dann erfahren was es zu Essen gab. Die Überraschung war teilweise groß wenn man bemerkt hat, wie anders man Lebensmittel wahrnimmt, wenn man sie nicht sieht... Alles in allem ein wunderschöner Abend, mit tollem Essen und einer komplett neuen Perspektive auf das Essen! Super Konzept, und vor allem: Ein absoluter Top Preis für das gebotene Essen und Ambiente!!!
