17/09/2026: Very disappointed with the service. The restaurant is expensive, and one expects impeccable service. The welcome was subpar. Even when making a reservation, I had to write it down on a piece of paper because the person who was there clearly wasn't part of the staff. Regarding the bouillabaisse, some people were served soup multiple times, and my fish was cold. The service is clearly not the same for regulars as it is for tourists.

16/09/2026: What a disgrace! We all got sick, the food was disgusting. It's very expensive for food poisoning. Honestly, avoid this place at all costs; it's not worth the trip.

30/08/2026: I went to eat there last night, and it was simply shameful to serve dishes like that. I had linguine with clams—well, that's what it was—and dry, gratinéed mussels. No taste, no flavor, and the price? Don't even get me started! It used to be a great restaurant, but it's now worse than a Flunch... but not the price: €140 for two! With a view like that and such a place, not having fresh seafood is scandalous. It's a tourist trap, as they say. Absolutely avoid it.

29/08/2026: We had booked two sunbeds and the restaurant a week in advance. I called to confirm. We had a good meal, but when we arrived at the beach to collect the sunbeds, none of them were reserved in our name. The restaurant was a great experience, but the private beach was a complete disaster. If I had known the communication was so terrible, I wouldn't have spent a single penny there. I definitely do not recommend it.

02/07/2026: After a morning at the beach we visited around noon as a family with three teenagers. We had a mix of coffees, sorbets/ice cream, and cold drinks. The location is fantastic. We were very happy to sit in the shaded area and relax. Our waiter was excellent. Friendly and polite with plenty of patience as the youngsters practiced their skills in conversing in French.

26/08/2026: "CONTINUOUS SERVICE" is clearly displayed. We come to eat and are brushed off with a "there's no continuous service, we just don't want to." In the middle of tourist season, on the port of Cassis, to have such contempt for customers is quite something. If you're too lazy to work, change your hours or even your profession. Friendliness: zero. Respect: zero. Professionalism: zero. A disgrace for a tourist establishment. Avoid this place.

15/09/2026: I came here to eat mussels and fries, and it was a disaster! The mussels weren't cleaned properly and were full of seaweed! I recommend not eating mussels and fries!

31/08/2026: I was very surprised by the mixed, even negative, reviews. We arrived in Cassis with a bit of a late-night craving: one of us wanted something completely sweet, the other a mix of savory and sweet. Huit et Demi did the trick perfectly: sweet and savory crepes with ice cream were just what we needed. Okay, some restaurants could certainly improve the presentation of their savory crepes. But we dealt with three different people (from ordering to payment at the register), three incredibly friendly and welcoming young men, even though we were just tourists passing through. And I observed the same kindness and simplicity with a couple after us who were hesitating between takeout and dining in. And yes, the bill was also reasonable compared to the restaurant next door where a Greek salad cost 25 euros. In short, a great place for a snack or lunch break at any time, with no unpleasant surprises and a warm welcome. Thank you to them.

29/08/2026: A lovely time at 8 et demi. Beautiful terrace with a direct view of the port of Cassis, a pleasant and sunny setting at the end of the day. The burrata was fresh and generous, and the warm goat cheese toast salad was nicely presented. However, the pizza was rather disappointing, and the fries were clearly from a store; homemade fries would have been a real plus. Friendly service, ideal setting for dining overlooking the boats.

27/08/2026: Oh Cesar!!!! Just a quick stop at your restaurant...but what a terrible idea to stop there!! The service was terribly slow, the pizza was very average because it was covered in poor-quality Gruyère, the children's menu was mediocre, and the warm goat cheese salad had a cheese that was practically walking on its own because it had been in the fridge for ages!!! Luckily, the waitresses were smiling, although they got quite irritated as soon as they turned their backs on the customers. Anyway. Dear Cesar, we won't be back, but I'm not worried about you, you're a tourist trap!!!

27/08/2026: We'll definitely be back! We had the pleasure of enjoying calzone, pasta with burrata, and profiteroles as a family, with a children's menu. Absolutely delicious!!! The calzone pasta is one of the few I've ever had. And the mega profiterole: to die for! Impeccable service! A huge smile! A level of service that's become rare! A team that truly loves what they do! No discrimination, unlike some other restaurants in Cassis. An open-minded team, open to differences, in short, a team with real values, which are, in principle, the values ​​of our France. I highly recommend it!!!!
