The welcome is very friendly at this family-run hotel, and the evening dinner is homemade and truly delicious.
Finally, the value for money is excellent!

La Paillote Chez Éric, in Cala d'Orzu, is an exceptional place where time seems to stand still.
From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a magnificent panorama: turquoise waters, a pristine beach, and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately invites you to relax.
Whether you're enjoying a simple refreshment overlooking the sea or savoring lunch in an idyllic setting, everything is in place for a wonderful experience.
The atmosphere is friendly, authentic, and perfectly in harmony with the beauty of the location.
A big thank you also to the owner, who is incredibly kind.
A must-visit in Cala d'Orzu to recharge, admire breathtaking scenery, and enjoy a timeless moment. I highly recommend it!

04/08/2026: Excessive prices (pasta at €30…). The side dishes, especially the rice, are served in very small portions (barely two bites). The service is particularly slow and unpleasant.
Special mention goes to the waitress with black braids and beads, whose attitude was extremely rude: she asked an elderly person to stack the plates and bring them to her at the end of the table, probably because she didn't want to go around. To top it all off: "Pass me the carafes, quickly." And so on…
A restaurant clearly geared towards tourists, which I do not recommend.

14/07/2026: The food is good, but the portions are really insufficient for the price. The service is very slow with little attention paid to the customer, including forgetting to bring cutlery. The welcome was mediocre, giving the impression that we were bothering them. They were not very transparent about the origin of the drinks. The setting is very pleasant.

27/07/2024: Superbe spot le temps d’une soirée pour apprécier un moment magique de coucher de soleil sur la mer le tout agrémenté d’un dîner sans fausse note de l’apéritif jusqu’à digestif ! Le serveur est très pro, à l’écoute et aux petits soins.
Les plats étaient très bien préparés entre le veau aux olives et le magret que nous avons pris.
Faites y un crochet car expérience fort sympathique

21/08/2024: Joli restaurant bistronomique en bord de plage. Produits frais, bien cuisinés. Nous nous sommes régalés avec le St Pierre et les enfants avec le loup/frite.
Convoités par les locaux, restaurant complet le soir de notre venue, nous avons reçu un bon accueil, sympathique, avec de bons conseils des équipes sur les plats et les vins Corse.
Nous avons passé une belle soirée et recommandons.

Cuisine ok (salade de pêcheur avec deux belles gambas). Tiramisu au top.
Réserver de préférence.

27/09/2024: Unpretentious address that you really have to discover. We enjoyed cooked mussels there like we've never had anywhere else!
Very good fries too, all you can eat but so plentiful the first time that it was impossible to eat more!

24/09/2024: Everything was so charming, the atmosphere, the boss, the waiter, everything was a good atmosphere and a pleasure to savor the moment!!!
The mussels and fries on Wednesday and Saturday evenings are always just as succulent and the entrecôte is a treat!
I highly recommend this place outside of the weather!

19/07/2024: le 18 juillet au soir, ACCEUIL FROID 10 minute avant de nous prendre la commande d el 'apéritif, nous sommes allés manger 2 pizzas et une bière mais très décus car il y avait de l'ail dans la sauce tomate dans la pizza et les pates sèches déjà cuites, de plus 2 bières nous ont été comptés au lieu de 1 et nous sommes aperçus en voiture donc trop tard, le pire le patron nous a parlé tout le repas donc impossible d manger en amoureux et au calme, repas gâché. AUCUN DIGESTIF PROPOSE A NE PAS RECOMMANDER A EVITER
