Each dish was as beautiful as it was tasty, with original and perfectly balanced flavors. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A truly exceptional restaurant that I wholeheartedly recommend.

12/06/2026: While searching for a restaurant serving Corsican cuisine, we came across A Bona Stella and were not disappointed. The food was a delight from the first bite to the last. Starting with an appetizer platter featuring regional sausages and cheeses, followed by lamb and veal as main courses, and ending with chocolatey desserts, nothing was left to be desired. The staff waited discreetly and attentively in the background, responding immediately when a drink was empty or needed to be refilled. In the quiet, charming atmosphere, we felt warmly welcomed and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

The cuisine is traditional Corsican, using high-quality products from local producers – a delight from start to finish! A special mention for the homemade chestnut flour flan. A must-visit, highly recommended!! A real gem 🥰

20/05/2026: Very friendly service and good food. The portions are very generous! We had a starter (a platter of appetizers - the zucchini fritters are excellent!) which was good, but in addition to the main courses (veal sausage with tomme cheese sauce/creamy polenta and pork sausage/Soissons beans), which were also good, it was a bit much. Good wine selection. In short, I recommend it for a pleasant time in a relaxed atmosphere.

01/06/2026: A superb experience! Like being perched in the trees (even in the restrooms!), we had a wonderful time with a magnificent view and a unique atmosphere. The dishes are delicious, generous, and showcase all the local produce (or even the vegetable garden just below) that the surrounding area (or even the garden right below) has to offer. To top it all off, the service was very pleasant; our server was very friendly, knowledgeable about the products, and happy to answer our questions. Just like the rest of the helpful and welcoming staff. Highly recommended!

The Corsican burger 🍔 was excellent, served with delicious fresh fries. We were delighted with this experience. Thank you for the warm welcome 🙏 So far, the best reasonably priced restaurant we've found since arriving on the island. We highly recommend it!

15/05/2026: First of all, the village of Sartène is truly magnificent. The welcome at Roy Théodore is very friendly, with smiles and warmth. The owner gives you lots of great advice for sightseeing. As for the food, it's pure bliss. The cuisine is as delicious as it is generous. A must in Sartène.
