A truly delightful experience for both the eyes and the palate. 02/05/2026: A message I just sent to the Michelin Guide: Hello, I rarely do this, but it's worth it. There's a restaurant, the Auberge du Château de Clermont, in Clermont-en-Genevois, that we discovered a few weeks ago. This restaurant is truly worth a visit, both for the welcome and the cuisine. Everything is just right, exceptionally good, flavorful, and quite inventive. In particular, the spelt with a Scarmoza mousse and a smoked egg yolk, or the langoustine tournedos with a bold, precise, and perfectly executed shellfish coulis. In short, a delight! The service by Sophie is attentive and meticulous… the chef is very friendly, and Sophie is efficient and cheerful. We left delighted and with stars in our eyes, one of which they richly deserve.
