07/08/2026: We spent two nights at Le Gautard on a half-board basis. A very pleasant stay. Away from the hustle and bustle of the larger establishments on the plateau, this house is smaller (3 bedrooms), which is a welcome change. Absolute peace and quiet, a very warm welcome. Lovely conversation with the owner. Very generous meals and breakfasts, perfect for hiking. Thank you again for the hospitality.

26/07/2026: Perfect welcome. Enthusiastic, smiling, and efficient waitress and owner. Huge portions of truly homemade food. Magnificent setting on the Glières plateau.
