29/12/2023: We arrived to have dinner (4 of us, us and 2 children), but it was late, 9.30pm. We were told there was only raclette. We accept but my son doesn't eat cheese and my daughter would have eaten a sandwich at home They bring us raclette for 2 people. The food was very good and we ask the waitress if it was for 2 people and she confirms for 2, with the menu in hand we tell her will we pay 68 euros? She says yes. For us it's a lot. But other restaurants in the area had already closed their kitchens. He asks us if we wanted some dishes for our children to share. My son eats bread. My daughter eats raclette with us. The bill arrives and they wanted to charge us for 4. The owner said that whoever eats pays. Which is how it is used here in France. We didn't know and the waitress wasn't clear. In the end we paid for 3. Because my son didn't really eat anything. The raclette was very good, but not knowing this rule we felt cheated.

09/09/2023: Disappointed by the reception this summer. There were 2 people to welcome us, well, not a very friendly welcome!!! One of the 2 shows us 3 types of beer. When leaving they said behind our backs sheep bê bê I suppose it's because our 2 sons had curly hair. Not very smart!!!

19/03/2024: A stone's throw from the heart of the village of Vallouise, a friendly restaurant with a varied decor. The menu offers some local specialties (i.e. based on cheese) but also more original, tasty plates and presented in a way as cheerful and catch-all as the decor. It’s plentiful and the service is lovely. We eat well at Nany’s.

09/03/2024: Very good quality cuisine, super well presented on the plates down to the smallest detail. Truly excellent!
