07/09/2026: Let's hope this was an unfortunate coincidence or an isolated incident rather than a recurring problem, because the experience proved particularly disappointing that day, where the failure of exceptionally chaotic service rivaled the amateurishness of the cuisine. From the moment we arrived at 11:30 a.m. for a reserved table inside, the tone was set by erratic dining room management. The constant coming and going of several servers, each taking turns inquiring about our order, demonstrated a glaring lack of coordination. This disorganization resulted in a disjointed drinks service, with a missing aperitif finally being brought... after the guests had already finished theirs. The confusion reached its peak around 1:15 p.m.: after an interminable wait with no visibility whatsoever, the customers, invited to sit inside, were ultimately turned away and left on the terrace. This disjointed management stretched a simple meal into four hours, ending around 3:30 pm. On the plate, the disappointment was complete: The hummus was woefully underserved, with only three or four measly slices of bread. This was, in fact, the only bread basket for a table of five. The burger, ordered rare, was served undeniably medium-rare. As for the set menu, it was a series of technical errors, one hopes were accidental: - An unripe melon, with pale orange flesh and utterly tasteless. - Potatoes advertised as roasted but delivered boiled and raw. - A free-range chicken ruined by imprecise cooking, soggy skin, and a dubious flavor profile. A request for mustard was never served; fortunately, the person who asked for it didn't touch their plate again after tasting it. - A tart that was sorely lacking in volume, its puff pastry, far from being crisp, transformed into a heavy, greasy, and doughy mess. One of the waiters, seeing us eat dessert, nevertheless asked if his two salad plates were for us. The final bill completed this picture with billing errors and unjustified charges added to the account, likely the result of a mix-up with the tables that day. This is an establishment worth reconsidering if this service was simply an off day, but it absolutely requires a significant improvement in standards.
