06/04/2026: I stayed at the Kyriad Direct in Montpellier, Saint Jean de Védas. I found it a bit too far from Montpellier; it takes a good 20 to 30 minutes to get there, depending on rush hour. There's a lot of traffic at the roundabout. The road is quite poor and full of potholes. The hotel is located next to a Première Classe. The reception area serves both hotels, Kyriad and Première Classe. The parking is fairly decent. The welcome was friendly but surprising. Once there, we were told we needed a €100 deposit. I think it's a bit much not to warn people in advance and take them by surprise. Once in the room, it was okay; there was some coffee and a kettle. It was clean and smelled nice. The bedding was adequate. However, the air conditioning wasn't working properly.
I had to call the hotel twice to get my deposit back. And I don't like chasing people around. They're supposed to release it on the day of departure. I had to call the next day, and again two days later I had to call again, and this time my deposit was released.
Overall, it's a hotel for emergencies, but it won't be the most pleasant stay.
23/03/2026: The only positive point was the reception staff, who were very friendly.
Otherwise, avoid at all costs!!! Not even for one night to break up a long journey. The room was outdated, with noises from furniture and the constant coming and going of other guests, who were shouting... No respect whatsoever. I wasn't reassured by that flimsy lock. The mattress was uncomfortable; I could feel the springs and the pillows were made of wood!
There was a strong smell of bleach in the rooms, and they weren't even clean! There was toilet paper stuck to the floor of the toilet... I was cold despite the heating.
In short, never again. I didn't sleep a wink. Very depressing.

24/03/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I had the roasted Camembert, and it was excellent and perfectly balanced—nothing to complain about, neither too much nor too little.
My companion opted for the buffet and was also very satisfied. Everything was excellent.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, ideal for having a good time. There's also a beautiful view, both inside and outside the restaurant.
I highly recommend it!
07/03/2026: I came yesterday for the karaoke night, it was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was amazing, the staff very friendly, and a special mention for yesterday's homemade soup.

12/04/2026: My husband ordered a burger... a €19 burger with two potato patties, a steak, and a small piece of cheese on top, which wasn't the half-sized Saint-Marculin cheese advertised on the menu. It was also served without the salad and dressing listed on the menu.
The fries were cold, and I ordered a flank steak. They forgot the sauce... when I asked for it, they went to get it... when it finally arrived, it was cold in the ramekin. I pointed this out... by the time I got it from the kitchen and it was still hot, the meal was over... it was truly awful.
We had to wait a good half hour for dessert. The waiter was wearing jogging pants... Meh, especially since they were much too small for him, which didn't look very classy. The restaurant has really gone downhill. Extremely disappointed.

10/02/2026: I just visited this establishment and was so disgusted by what I saw that I grabbed my phone to check the reviews. In my opinion, the people who reviewed it didn't see the whole restaurant. I was supposed to eat there after my shower, but after entering the restroom area, I turned around and left. I've attached photos of my experience, which certainly didn't make me want to sit down at a table. The photos are of the entrance, which isn't very welcoming, and the others are of the restrooms and showers. I'll let you be the judge.

26/08/2024: A service that seriously leaves something to be desired
First of all, I would like to point out that the cleanliness of the hotel needs to be reviewed. I also noticed that the rooms are not cleaned with the expected care. For example, I intentionally left two pieces of paper on the floor to check if the cleaning was done correctly, and these remained in place for two days. Furthermore, despite the indication left for my room to be made, my bed was not made for two consecutive days. Only the towels in the bathroom were replaced, but the room itself was not cleaned.
Regarding the swimming pool area, it would be beneficial to review the maintenance of the lawn to make it more welcoming, as the grass is not in optimal condition.
I would still like to point out that the staff was pleasant and courteous. However, if we come to the hotel, it is above all for the quality of service. On this point, it seems that a re-evaluation is necessary to align the service with the standards expected of a 3-star establishment. If an inspection were to be carried out, the hotel could unfortunately lose some of its stars, which would be truly regrettable. The hotel still has enormous potential, and its location is perfect.

Nous payons un certain prix pour un dîner complet (mets ET service), et il s’avère que celui-ci n’est pas du tout à la hauteur des prix proposés et cela est bien dommage.
L’ambiance est top, les plats proposés sont plutôt bons mais le service est à revoir…
Des serveuses hautaines, qui soufflent, jettent « presque » les plats sur la table, sans oublier le sourire qui est évidemment inexistant.
Je le répète c’est bien dommage, car l’endroit est vraiment chouette, bonne fréquentation et la musique est variée !
Malgré tout, le responsable est à l’écoute et compréhensif!
