04/05/2024: We had high expectations after the excellent description of the dishes given by the owner. The starter was excellent (tempura asparagus, €13).
The dishes were not up to par, cold, like the places. The value for money was not there. Damage.
30/04/2024: A first visit since the change of ownership, for a very pleasant surprise.
A very warm welcome in a preserved original setting.
Tasty and very fresh dishes.

27/08/2023: Spacious room, very clean, good bedding, facing the magnificent abbey church of Preuilly sur Claise. Simple breakfast but fresh bread and kindness of Jeannine make it a place that we can only recommend for visiting the south of Touraine. Azay le Ferron 10 minutes away, La Guerche 20 minutes away, Descartes 10 minutes away!
