02/03/2026: We took a short stroll around the resort and relied on online reviews.
It was winter, so there were no outdoor amenities, but even so, for a late February day, we were able to eat on the terrace, which was very pleasant. We always make a point of booking by phone or in person. This allows us to choose our table, avoid arriving last, and get the best spot—something you can't find anywhere else.
The manager had reserved a table for us in the sun with the headrest in the shade. It was a very thoughtful touch.
The selection wasn't huge, but it's much better than having 20 options where absolutely everything is frozen.
The two people running the place are very friendly but don't let themselves be taken advantage of, which I think is perfectly legitimate. Paying doesn't give you free rein. In small resorts or villages, whether touristy or not, without this kind of business, it's the death of the village. It is certainly not in this type of establishment that one can make a fortune, but they are the ones that keep a locality alive.
10/02/2026: The managers were incredibly welcoming and friendly, providing impeccable service. The meal reflected this excellent service: generous portions and delicious food! I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and will definitely return. Thank you!

Très belle découverte à Alpe du Grand-Serre!
Les Mélèzes restaurant offers excellent cuisine with local specialties and varied dishes that will satisfy all tastes. The quality of the products is au rendez-vous and the portions are generous.
L’ambiance est chaleureuse, conviviale et parfaitement adaptate à l’esprit montagnard. Le service est attentivené, rapide et toujours avec le sourire.
Le soir, le restaurant est souvent complet, il est donc strongly conseillé de reserver sa table à l’avance.
Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille, les enfants ont beaucoup aprécis et nous sommes repartis avec de très bons souvenirs.
Je recomendement vivement cette adresse à tous ceux qui visitent l'Alpe du Grand-Serre!

A great thematic location in Alpe du Grand Serre!
Restaurant Les Mélèzes offers not only national cuisine, but also many other delicious items for every taste. Everything was cooked to a very high standard, and the service left only positive impressions.
The atmosphere is cozy, warm and truly mountain. In the evenings there are usually many visitors, so I recommend booking a table in advance.
We had a great time with the whole family. The children had a lot of fun, and we left in a good mood and with pleasant memories.
I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Alpe du Grand Serre!
30/05/2026: Great restaurant for relaxing in the mountains with a beautiful view. Friendly staff, a good place for a break for motorcyclists and drivers.
