As a shopkeeper, I rarely get the opportunity to enjoy other restaurants during the season. But this time, I had the pleasure of discovering them.

02/10/2024: The “sand menu” pancake with chicken satay sauce, excellent, very tender chicken, it was perfect. The dessert crepes are also very good. We ate very well, the welcome and the service very pleasant.

31/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant on December 31, 2025, with my partner and parents. We're regulars in Le Croisic, and we've tried several restaurants there: I'm leaving a review because I think this is the best! The food was excellent and plentiful. Special mention goes to the grilled sardines, which were a real treat.
The service was just as good as the food (as the first customers, we were seated next to a radiator, which was lovely on a very cold day like today).
In short, this restaurant brightened our day, and we'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

19/01/2026: A complete disaster! The restaurant lives up to its name!
We chose two set menus, but nothing we ordered was available! The owner suggested we order a different starter and main course from what he had on hand! Oh yes, no problem, in the end the bill was hefty, and we were ordering à la carte instead of the set menu. Why didn't he mention that the set menus weren't available? It's bordering on a rip-off, and don't even get me started on the dessert I sent back, which they replaced with a different one that was supposed to be available that day! Yeah, right! The restaurant is just clearing out its remaining stock at the expense of its customers! Let's just say I was not having a great evening! Avoid this place at all costs. What a waste, almost €100 for two people for a meal that was more than just mediocre. The owner is all smiles, nothing's a problem!! It would be nice if they made regular trips to the restrooms and emptied the bin without a lid so we can enjoy everything! And the toilets are unisex, I'll let you imagine! Bon appétit!
16/01/2026: La Dérive has changed a lot (review from a resident of Le Croisic). Avoid the flank steak and fries. The fries were reheated, very brown, almost shriveled, and the meat was practically uncut. Only about 30% was edible, if that! My wife's dish was served completely out of order. We won't be back.

02/01/2026: Disappointed, no seafood platter service just before 7 pm. Only shrimp were offered.
16/11/2025: I live an hour's drive from the bistro, but every time it's a real treat! The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the sauce with the periwinkles is divine, EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS. Of course, you have to like shellfish and fish, or not have any allergies. ENJOY IT WITHOUT MODERATION!

02/12/2024: Des galettes correctes, mais sans plus. Ça manque d’authenticité et de vérité. Les crêpes sont également correctes. Le sourire de la serveuse aide à faire passer le tout
17/11/2024: Déception totale. Les galettes sont servies "blanches" autrement dit pas cuites et fadasses, peu de garniture, jambon Serrano pratiquement inexistant, champignons non égouttés, bref, aucun goût.
Idem pour la crêpe, on avait le sentiment de manger de la pâte à crêpes épaisse, non cuite. Cette fois, nous l'avons renvoyée en cuisine.
Je pense que le crêpier ne connaît rien à ce métier, et qu'il faut soit le former, soit le changer.....
Nous ne reviendrons pas ☹️

21/07/2024: Cela fait plusieurs années que je vais manger des crêpes dans cette crêperie je prend souvent Océane mais là déçu les noix sèche et beaucoup trop cuite la fondue de poireaux sèche et la galette on aurait dit de la crêpe dentelle à 16€00 la galette c’est limite le comportement de patron vis à vis du personnel et de la clientèle n’est pas digne d’un commerçant. J’espère que ce n’était juste qu’un mauvais jour

27/09/2024: If you are not in a hurry, you can book. Half a glass of gazpacho served to keep us waiting... we ordered 9 oysters and 1 beef skewer (very good) and had to wait more than 1 hour despite our complaint. Pay attention to the bill, the price indicated is not the one you pay (€13.50 for 9 oysters on the bill and €12 on the menu). I didn't see it until it was too late.

The waitress (responsible, I think) is disrespectful and mocking. I was served while my husband had to wait almost 15 minutes after me to get his dish!! I was finished when it was served!!! without explanation or excuse me when I asked for it a 2nd time to be served!!! and we had dessert after a 1/2 hour wait and the only answer was we forgot!!! But still no excuses! This is unacceptable
In addition, the portions are very small, made for children!!! not for adults! I'm still looking for my salmon because the piece was so small!!!!
When it was time to pay, I expressed my disappointment to the waitress and she replied in a contemptuous and mocking tone that in summary she had nothing to do!!!!!
