27/09/2025: Misunderstanding: I called in early September to make a reservation for nine people for a birthday party. They explained to me that we could only eat sweets, which I readily accepted. When I arrived at the reservation time, a sign indicated that the restaurant was closed. I decided to go inside and was told that the restaurant had been closed for several weeks. I can only advise you to have a plan B if you make a reservation at this establishment. Because managing to find a table for a birthday party for such a large group is nothing short of miraculous... This is an unprofessional establishment; I do not recommend it.

07/09/2025: A must-see when we come to Pornic. The taste and nothing but the taste of strawberries. We've tried everything from a cone to an ice cream sundae, it's all incredibly good.

25/03/2026: Very good all-you-can-eat couscous, ate very well

22/03/2026: Competent and friendly staff. The food is good and inexpensive. I regret the poor hygiene of the windows, walls, and floors... it really gives a bad impression of the place. Update April 2023: Significant improvement in hygiene; I recommend it 🙂

18/03/2026: We had lunch at Zagaya today. The warm, friendly, and humorous welcome from the gentleman and the young woman who found us an exceptional table overlooking the sea was wonderful. The mama and the chatrou were excellent, and the wine list and desserts continued to delight us. The young women who served us were lovely. We had a truly exceptional time at Zagaya. Thank you to the entire team from beginning to end.

13/03/2026: We had a fantastic time! The view is incredible, eating with our feet in the water! The service was excellent, the setting is magnificent! Everything was perfect.

22/03/2026: We had lunch here today. We were disappointed with the service and the welcome. We've had lunch at Par several times before; it used to be much better.

22/03/2026: Nice place, but the staff weren't very friendly. Whether it's a rush or not, a smile is always appreciated.

28/02/2026: Expensive and not good, my sea bass had two sad-looking potatoes and a tiny bit of broccoli. The "homemade" sauce didn't seem homemade at all, and the leek fondue was really bad. I don't recommend it.

25/02/2026: Hello! I'm replying to your comment following the publication of my review yesterday, Wednesday, February 18, 2026. First, try to make fewer spelling mistakes when responding to customers! Five serious errors in just a few lines?! Second, your front door is really difficult to open, and I wasn't being aggressive at all! Third, I didn't ask for a doggy bag for the two rolls left over from our meal. You know perfectly well that you're "obligated" to provide one if we ask for it. Similarly, if there had been leftover food or wine, you would have given us a cork to take it home. The waitress was really unfriendly and bordering on aggressive... Dessert portions for people on a diet! Shameful! Excessive price for a plate of pasta gratin... Two tiny pasta bars for €10!! The food tasted okay, but nothing special. We won't be returning to this restaurant, which promised so much on its website... 12/02/2026: We ate at this restaurant today at lunchtime and had the 3 course menu for19.90€. The lady who waited on us was very friendly. pleasant and efficient. We both enjoyed our meals very much. Lovely food, well presented and delicious. We will go back again. They do not serve carafes of wine so we had to buy a bottle but when we ordered the server told us that she would leave the cork so that we could take away any wine we didn’t drink. A lovely experience 🌺

04/09/2025: We were alone on the terrace late in the afternoon. Warm welcome. Quiet place with a view of the port. Excellent

27/08/2025: "Homemade" was advertised, but the tuna tartare was frozen and watery. The service was chaotic and uncoordinated, with a waiter running around. It looked more like a bar than a bistro restaurant, and the lack of fish on the port menu was surprising. One might wonder if there was actually a chef in the kitchen. More frozen than anything else, so move on.
