21/08/2026: Very disappointed by this experience (food allergy). When it comes to a severe food allergy, there's no time to lose. A reaction can occur very quickly and become serious within minutes. That's why I believe it's crucial that all restaurant staff, both front-of-house and kitchen staff, are aware of allergies and understand that a customer's reported allergy should never be taken lightly. When you work in the restaurant industry, knowing the risks associated with allergens and knowing how to react correctly can truly make all the difference. From the very beginning of the meal, I had clearly stated a potentially life-threatening allergy to peanuts and tree nuts. Despite this, I was served a dessert containing hazelnuts. Fortunately, my girlfriend and I realized it quickly, and I preferred to go to the emergency room as a precaution. We could clearly have gone from a pleasant evening at a restaurant to something much more serious. I still want to thank the young waiter, who immediately understood the seriousness of the situation and reacted appropriately. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the way allergens were handled in the kitchen and by the management. When a customer announces a potentially life-threatening allergy, it's not a dietary preference: it must be taken seriously from beginning to end. In the end, a €69 bill to finish the evening in the emergency room is a very expensive game of Russian roulette. I do want to apologize if some of my comments came across as a bit harsh. It was mainly anger and stress at the time, given the potential consequences. I also want to emphasize that the rest of the meal was truly delicious and that we had had a wonderful time up until then. My dissatisfaction stems primarily from the handling of my allergy, which remains an extremely serious matter for me. Thanks especially to my girlfriend for being so attentive. As for me, I won't be taking the risk a second time: I won't be back.
