What can I say? The interior is very clean, simple yet welcoming.
From the moment we entered, we received a very warm welcome: they were expecting us!
The meal: the house cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are exquisite and delicious.
The dishes (appetizers, main courses, desserts) are beautifully presented, which is enhanced by the exceptional taste of each dish. The portions are generous.
All accompanied by local wines. Our host's visit to each table to ensure our comfort only added to the pleasure of enjoying such refined and sophisticated cuisine.
Well done! You tick all the boxes for a truly excellent restaurant, the kind we wish we could find more often. Considering the quality, the prices are more than reasonable.

03/11/2025: Honestly, this little pizzeria is really great, and their pizzas are just wonderfully good.
Anyway, if you're ever in Gien, stop by because they don't just make pizzas; they also serve salads, burgers (I haven't tried them yet, they're not really my thing), and especially crepes.
In short, I highly recommend it because, apart from kebabs and other fast food, there are some real gems for the same price.

13/12/2025: Excellent restaurant, pleasant and helpful staff. Note that seating is by reservation only. Call early in the morning as it's a very popular restaurant and lots of people eat there.

26/08/2025: While passing through Gien, we stopped at Le Regency restaurant for its location.
The welcome was quite pleasant, but the overall cleanliness was a shame.
We were pleasantly surprised by the appetizer, and the delicious and well-presented main course.

26/11/2025: Following a tourist stay in November that was cut short.
The establishment is aging, very poorly maintained, and lacks insulation.
The welcome was cold, so much so that the receptionist practically abandoned the premises.
The room had an electric heater that vented through an old chimney and outside, and there was absolutely no hot water.

La serveuse est d’une grande amabilité. Très souriante. Quel plaisir d’être venu manger dans ce restaurant. Les plats sont tout aussi originaux que délicieux.
Nous reviendrons assurément.

01/10/2024: Ruins the Gien tourism map. Passing through family, this young dark-haired guy with short hair makes us want to prefer the anonymous service on the highways. It is not possible to enjoy the Loire around a Café on Place Leclerc. Disappointed
