26/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at this charming restaurant in the city center. The welcome was simply perfect. The couple who run the establishment immediately put their customers at ease. The wife provides friendly, attentive service and offers excellent advice. The husband, in the kitchen, prepares homemade dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each plate is a true feast for the eyes and the palate. This is a must-visit in Orléans. We will definitely be back!

The service was perfect, warm, and attentive. The meal was excellent, everything was truly delicious, and the decor is absolutely stunning. ✨ We also really appreciated the chef coming to check on us himself to make sure everything was alright. We were, of course, able to tell him how delighted we were and that everything was delicious. 👨‍🍳❤️ And what a lovely surprise to end our lunch: a complimentary second coffee, along with a small cake, and a charming personalized card wishing us a happy anniversary. 🥹❤️ A thoughtful touch that meant so much to us! A huge thank you to the entire team at Le Lièvre Gourmand for your kindness, your warm welcome, your professionalism, and all these thoughtful touches. You helped make our first year of marriage even more beautiful and created a lovely memory for both of us. ❤️

The portions were very generous and the prices quite reasonable. I highly recommend Le Petit Saint Trop in Briare!

21/09/2026: This was our fifth visit, and unfortunately, this latest experience was very disappointing. The food remains consistently good, and the setting is beautiful and peaceful—that's about the only positive thing we've seen. However, there was a major problem with the welcome and service. On September 12th, for our first wedding anniversary, we returned hoping to make it an annual tradition. We were sorely disappointed: the waiter was inattentive, reciting his script without any real attention to the customer. Another issue: when we made the reservation by phone, the staff were unpleasant, claiming they were busy and had little time to spare. Unacceptable. Finally, we noticed that a glass of champagne is offered at the end of the meal, but not to everyone. We received it on our very first visit a year ago (a post-wedding meal with our witnesses), but never again since, despite four returns with a gourmet menu and a bottle. The attention was clearly reserved for new customers, which is difficult for loyal customers to understand. We had hoped to make this a regular destination, but this year's experience has made us seriously reconsider returning.

15/09/2026: It seems you have to be a new customer to be taken seriously, which is a real shame as the service and welcome remain very disappointing. For now, we won't be back.

23/06/2026: What an unusual place to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary! And what a welcome! We were more than pampered! And we savored every single dish! We were treated like kings!

15/06/2026: It's definitely one of the best fish restaurants I've ever been to! All the courses were beautifully composed and superbly prepared—perfectly cooked! The service was fantastic and relaxed, yet very professional. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly. However, it's not easy to find, as the entrance is in the fish shop on the ground floor. 🐠🐟🎣
