17/07/2026: An excellent meal, wonderful culinary discoveries, a real treat.

21/06/2026: This restaurant calls itself semi-gastronomic... we had a completely different experience: - The amuse-bouches were there, but lacked any real flavor. - The starter: small and very average scallops, with an extra charge of 8 euros on top of the set menu price! - The meat was full of gristle. They kindly offered to take our plates back and brought us replacements... the exchange was somewhat unsuccessful, but we appreciated the gesture. - The desserts, like the amuse-bouches, were basic. Not a word or gesture of goodwill was offered at the time of payment regarding our unpleasant experience. Given the price of the set menu, we expected a much higher quality of service!

12/07/2026: Always a warm welcome! The homemade cuisine brings quality, freshness, and originality to the "small and large barrel" menus. Extensive wine list with wines available by the glass. Never disappointed every time we return. The atmosphere is that of a traditional Lyonnais bistro... No! Orléanais!

12/07/2026: The starter was cold and dry, giving the impression it had been cooked the day before. The "noodle salad" served as a side dish led me to believe that serving it cold was more about using up leftovers than a culinary choice. The staff were friendly, however. The setting is very average, as the terrace is right next to the road.

08/08/2026: A wonderful discovery at Le Petit Bouchon in Gien! We had lunch there today, just the two of us, and we truly enjoyed our meal. The dishes were excellent, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A big thank you to the chef for the quality and care he put into each plate! 👏 We then ordered two desserts, which were also absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to our meal. 😋 All this for a very reasonable price, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning.

27/07/2026: My husband and I came for dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. The waitresses were very friendly and smiling. It was a pleasure.

23/07/2026: Trusting the positive reviews, I booked a table for lunch. The welcome was friendly, but a restaurant is also meant to offer good food. And the dishes on offer were quite ordinary, starting with the appetizers. The €20 meat dish was a tiny piece of rump steak (accompanied by a few salad leaves and some fries) so tough it was impossible to eat… We were very disappointed with the experience.

26/07/2026: I love this simple place where the food is good. In the summer, be sure to reserve a table on the private terrace in the back courtyard. It's quiet and has a lovely mural on the walls. The service is pleasant.

11/07/2026: First meal at Mamie Bigoude's, and definitely not the last! I hope to be able to stop by every time I'm in Orléans! The savory buckwheat crepes are excellent and generously filled, as are the sweet crepes! The service was very quick and the staff were incredibly friendly! Looking forward to returning! PS: Bonus points for the choice of music!

18/07/2026: Despite the lack of air conditioning, the welcome and service were excellent; the staff were smiling, attentive to orders, and responsive to any requests or questions. As for the food, it was a delight for the taste buds! The aromas, flavors, and textures—from crunchy and crispy to tender and melting—were all there! A very pleasant contrast. A fantastic interplay of flavors, expertly executed and perfectly served, with a refreshing touch of cold within the hot elements. Stunning! Bravo! I'll definitely be back! 😉

23/06/2026: What an unusual place to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary! And what a welcome! We were more than pampered! And we savored every single dish! We were treated like kings!

15/06/2026: It's definitely one of the best fish restaurants I've ever been to! All the courses were beautifully composed and superbly prepared—perfectly cooked! The service was fantastic and relaxed, yet very professional. The owner is incredibly nice and friendly. However, it's not easy to find, as the entrance is in the fish shop on the ground floor. 🐠🐟🎣

26/07/2026: Hello, this review explains our two visits in the same week (July 15th). First visit: very warm welcome, perfect snack, quick service by a very tall, pleasant, and smiling person. Second visit: average welcome by a young man. He took our order but completely forgot about our table; there were six of us. People who arrived after us were served before us. Didn't the young man notice? We were brought water 45 minutes later. And our order was returned, with the explanation that there had been a technical glitch. No compensation was offered. As he was leaving, the young man closed the gate in front of other customers in a strange way (like, "We're closing, I'm finished"). His manner needs improvement. Otherwise, the food was very good. Pay attention to the service. P.S. I already came in January, and everything was fine.

05/08/2026: There was a bit of a wait for service, but the food was really well-prepared and high-quality. The dessert was a little too sweet for my taste, but that's just me. Another lovely time spent there, by the fire. We're never disappointed when we go. We'll definitely be back...

05/08/2026: A very nice place in Chilleurs. Back then, we had to book. Personally, when you drive through Chilleurs on the four-way intersection, it's not easy to know such a restaurant exists. Very good, I can't wait to go back.

28/07/2026: Everything is unique: the decor, the tables, and especially the owner-chef-waiter, who is relaxed, takes the time to chat, and cracks a joke. You have to be patient when he disappears into the kitchen for some truly memorable moments. And it's delicious.

24/07/2026: The food was excellent, but the service wasn't perfect. There were no appetizers with the aperitif, and the waiter forgot to bring our bottle of rosé at the beginning of the meal; he only came after we'd already eaten the starter! A shame, otherwise it would have been perfect. To make up for it, he offered us coffee. Thank you for the gesture.
