30/03/2024: The welcome is friendly, the team and especially the boss are adorable. Big downside the rather average food. Good terrine as a starter but all the other dishes oscillated between meh and really meh meh.

26/04/2024: Following a very positive review on Google, we decided to stop there to eat. A first room for the daily menus, with a “starter, main course, dessert” menu at a very affordable price. A second room for "à la carte" dining, decorated in a chic and sober way, just what you need to feel good there. The cuisine is very good 😋, a nice surprise on the ravioli stuffed with beef and their crushed tomatoes!!!! The cheeses were well balanced and very good. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Very interesting value for money. If I have the chance I will go back 😊😊😊

03/04/2024: To discover absolutely to have a pleasant time. In decoration, lots of objects from the past and the chance to have a fireplace when we came. The dishes are excellent with seasonal products. Widely sufficient choice and very well presented plates. Warm and very friendly welcome. Preferably, reserve a table in advance. We will come back with pleasure.

26/02/2024: Working in Craon, the Grenier à Popote is a place not to be missed! It's our little pleasure. We regularly take takeaway due to lack of break time, and we are never disappointed! There is something for every taste. The meals are plentiful and excellent. The soups take us back to our childhood and the fish with white butter is killer. If you eat there, you will also be amazed. It's worth the detour !

13/10/2023: Amazing hotel and restaurant! The privilege rooms have a superb view of the park and are spacious. The evening meals are worthy of a great starred restaurant, well presented, original and exquisite. I 100% recommend this place located in a very charming village!

11/10/2023: I stayed for a week in this hotel. It's really perfect! A professional and pleasant welcome. A very large and well-equipped room with a beautiful view. The restaurant is just EXCEPTIONAL, the quality of a starred restaurant. Well done to the team 👏🏻

22/03/2024: For the service: the aperitif and the meal were served quickly but for the dessert order we waited 20 minutes between the meal and the very long dessert.... For the plates: unfortunately I had a hair in my meal which was not very pleasant, meat with a lot of fat for the price I would not have thought of having so much fat in non-home fries which is a shame.. .. Room: one of our tables and block with a piece of cup to break the one in the room to the right at the back...... There are cards where the products are not the same as the others, well some product is missing which is a shame... Arriving at the bill we ordered two Monacos and since there was no pressure he wanted the bill for 2 Monacos and two beers..... Well luckily she just left Monaco and removed the beers... The little card games at the end for the children to play was nice. But I, who like to go to different restaurants, unfortunately I would not go back there.

09/03/2024: Good restaurant. Daily menu with fresh produce. You have to like the daily menu because there is no other choice. Downside for the desserts which were a little light and especially the cheese plate which was more than ridiculous. Complaint for the waitress who kindly served us red wine but who dropped a drop on my partner's white shirt, we had planned a family photo session right after.

16/02/2024: Very pleasant staff with changing menu every day. Possible choice between 2 starters, 2 main courses, 3 desserts or cheese, and the dishes offered are different from the ordinary and have interesting flavors. :)

10/11/2023: I spent a very short but very pleasant night in this charming hotel. The owners are very accommodating, I arrived late and they let me in without any problem. Everything is very clean and of high quality in the rooms, nothing to say! As for breakfast, a real delight with homemade pastries and a very soothing atmosphere, thank you!

05/04/2024: Unfortunately bad experience Plate of nems and other Extra cooked Béarnaise sauce = bowl of oil and hot Meat requested rare, blue limit = very cooked Gourmet coffee = meh, whipped cream, red fruit whipped cream, whipped cream in a tiramisu and extra dense rice cake... Glass of wine 10cl not 11 not 12cl...

03/04/2024: Self, everyone helps themselves or orders the main course. A few “hiccups” In August, a rum-raisin ice cream served WITHOUT RUM and with RAISINS! In April, no more self-service plates. Reflection when paying that it was a lack of respect to leave your waste on the table (even though the absence of plates had been reported by several people) because the waiter was obliged to collect them. YOU HAD TO CONSUME YOUR MEAL WITH THE WASTE (oyster shells, shrimp waste) ON THE PLATE (or not go and get more when they advertise "all you can eat fresh produce". Who eats with their waste in the plate? I would love to see them there! For me, accusing the customer who does not have a plate at their disposal to put the waste of disrespecting the waiter is a lack of respect towards the or the customer concerned!
