11/07/2026: It was a definite choice when coming to Carnac; I booked the restaurant even before the activities. The setting is very pleasant, the waiters are classy, ​​welcoming, smiling, and always have a kind word. As for the main point, the meal, frankly, this rating is well-deserved. It's absolutely delicious, the hamburger is amazing, the meat is excellent, and the crêpes and galettes are to die for. You can't miss "L'Auguste" when you come to Carnac, otherwise you shouldn't come at all! Remember to book in advance.

19/05/2026: We had an exceptional time at this restaurant. Of course, the food was outstanding. But what impressed us most was the attention given to our 3-year-old child. From the moment we arrived, the entire team was incredibly kind and attentive. You can feel a genuine desire to make families feel welcome, even in a fine dining establishment of this caliber. Small gestures of kindness, patience, smiles, and adaptability made our meal as peaceful as it was enjoyable. It's rare enough to be worth mentioning: managing to offer an exceptional gastronomic experience while also warmly welcoming a young child. A huge thank you to the entire team for this precious family memory. We will definitely be back.

The dishes were delicious (a special mention for the octopus, which was one of the best things I've ever eaten), and a special mention goes to the wine selection, which perfectly complemented our meal. 14/06/2026: We went there yesterday, Saturday, June 13th, at lunchtime. The phone reception for the reservation was excellent. We received a very warm welcome at the restaurant, the dishes prepared by the Chef were exquisite, and the service was superb! We were two couples of friends with gift vouchers, and we left the restaurant truly delighted and satisfied with the service provided by these professionals. The place is very pleasant and impeccably clean! We recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a pleasant and convivial experience! Thank you to "L'Auberge Restaurant Le Ratelier." 07/06/2026: Lunch with my wife on Saturday the 6th at noon via a meal voucher. Great welcome, great meal (special voucher type) but not cheapened as is often the case with meal vouchers!

30/03/2026: Very disappointed! We had a table for six people booked a week in advance. On the day, the waitress took our order: three appetizers, three main courses, and three desserts. Sounded good. The order was placed. She served us aperitifs and then came back to tell us that a certain appetizer was out. Those who had chosen it changed their order. Then they were out of fish, and finally, they were out of crème brûlée. In short, there was nothing left, on a Sunday at 1 p.m.! This was awkward for our guests, especially since we were the ones hosting! The restaurant seems secondary; they're more focused on the casino!

03/05/2026: We had a wonderful 5-night stay. The welcome was very pleasant and professional, thanks in particular to David. The hotel was very quiet and ideally located.

03/05/2026: Perfect stay. This is a charming hotel with fantastic staff, especially David at the front desk and the restaurant team. We arrived with bicycles which we were able to keep just outside our room, no problem. Food and location could not have been better. 10/10.

07/07/2026: They say that chance works in mysterious ways, and in this case, it perfectly applies to St Georges. We stumbled upon this crêperie by chance among the ten or so in Carnac, and what a find! Crispy, fluffy galettes, just as they should be, and perfect sweet crêpes! Finally, a crêpe maker who knows their craft and doesn't just throw any old batter on their griddle. Special mention goes to the Soubise sauce (which I discovered for the first time), the Breton sausage is generous, and the salted caramel is excellent. Thank you, and have a great season!

02/07/2026: We received a very warm welcome for our family dinner; the staff were friendly and attentive. The galettes and crêpes were delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and generously filled! Our children were also very well looked after (a big plus).

30/07/2026: What a disappointment! The bakery's reopening was a disaster. I used to go every year before the fire, but unfortunately, I just went back, happy to be able to buy some kouign-amann by the slice, and left empty-handed because, frankly, they were barely presentable. The prices are exorbitant, the saleswoman isn't friendly, forgets half the orders, and isn't smiling. But really, the worst thing is the prices; I've never seen them so high. The bread is overcooked. And unfortunately, I won't be going back.

It's not for lack of trying to choose dishes from the "must-haves" on the menu... a couscous without spices and a Thai dish with tasteless, bland chicken, in short, without flavor... a Thai dish from Picard would have had more flavor and would have cost us less.
