30/03/2026: This was our first time at this restaurant, having come from the Mouscron region of Belgium. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a modern setting, ample parking, and a most welcoming reception. The tasting of the appetizers and main courses demonstrated great professionalism and remarkable quality. The decor and presentation were excellent. The service was worthy of a 5-star establishment; having frequented Michelin-starred restaurants, we found that same level of service here. All four of us shared this opinion: we had a wonderful time and we will definitely return.

06/04/2026: We were lucky enough to celebrate my sister's christening at this restaurant, and everything was perfect! We were a large table of 20 people, and the service was impeccable from beginning to end.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, ideal for a family gathering, and the meal was simply delicious. Special mention goes to the salmon, which was truly exquisite!
A big thank you also to the servers and the owner, who were very friendly, professional, and attentive despite the number of guests. We had an unforgettable time, and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent cuisine showcasing local produce, and above all, exceptional service. Highly recommended!
26/04/2026: After several previous positive experiences, we were extremely disappointed today, not by the quality of the food, which remained very high, but by the unbearable wait. We arrived at 1 p.m. and didn't receive our starters until around 2:45 p.m.! Some might have given up already. The main courses arrived within an "acceptable" timeframe, but we then had to wait over an hour for our desserts. As for apologies, we're still waiting... just a "we'll do better next time," if there even is a next time... What a shame. To end on a humorous note, don't order French toast; it takes them 3.5 hours to find it.
Given the numerous similar reviews, it seems urgent for the owners to take action to restore the quality of service that customers deserve at La Croix ou Pile.
I will be checking the reviews before booking next time.
