22/08/2026: Invited to a birthday dinner, I ate very well and the service was impeccable.
The scallops on the skewer were cooked exactly how I like them; the veal was a little too pink for my taste (but I'm not a good example 😉), and all three desserts were delicious.
09/08/2026: Friendly welcome, very spacious parking, beautifully decorated, and delicious house appetizer. 15-minute drive across the border, best followed by GPS signs. Nicely presented and finished, very nice menu. We have the set menu with included wine for 45 euros, and it was poured in abundance. You can get Irish coffee for dessert, and it's good too. I will definitely come back here. That's a promise. I've already been 4 times and everything remains at a very high level.

The value for money of the €55 per person set menu is unbeatable.
This is our fifth visit in three years, and I've even noticed that the restaurant is improving in terms of portion sizes. We leave with very full stomachs!
Seriously, it's top-notch.
31/08/2026: Second time in six months. And it was fantastic again! The €55 set menu is varied. An amuse-bouche, a starter, a main course, a cheese course, and dessert… It's truly a treat and very generous; you leave completely satisfied! The drinks are reasonably priced. The decor and atmosphere are great. The service is friendly and efficient. We can't wait to come back… See you soon!

03/09/2026: A lovely meal with cousins, excellent food. Delicious homemade Maroilles sauce, delicious crème brûlée... I swear! 😘 You can go there without hesitation... even on an empty stomach, because the portions are generous and delicious.

31/08/2026: We had a wonderful time; the food was delicious: salmon escalope, beef carpaccio, and mussels with Maroilles cheese. The desserts were generous and delightful.
The atmosphere was friendly and the service attentive.
A great place to eat, and reservations are recommended. 👌🏻

We received a very warm welcome from the owner and her son who served us.
They are people who love their work and making their customers happy.
High-quality, locally sourced cuisine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
I recommend it 100%.
We were just passing through on vacation and had never been to this establishment before, so it was a wonderful discovery!
All this in a relaxed atmosphere. The service is unpretentious, simple, but very well executed.

30/08/2026: Having been a regular customer for a long time, though not very often, we went again this week.
No more snails on the menu, yes, on the website!
The charcuterie is nothing like what we were eating 12 months ago; the meat is tough, the fries are bad, and the white wine is HOT! A few ice cubes won't cool it down.
In short, what a decline, considering that before it wasn't just good food, but traditional home cooking.
28/08/2026: A truly wonderful example of professionalism and honesty!
I contacted La Croix ou Pile because I couldn't identify a credit card payment I'd made there a few weeks earlier.
The team was incredibly friendly and took the time to investigate with me to understand what might have happened. They were even prepared to reimburse me if it turned out they'd made a mistake.
Finally, after doing some research on my own, I found the source of the payment: no error on the restaurant's part, simply an oversight on my part!
I wanted to emphasize their kindness, their helpfulness, and above all, their honesty. Such a rare and commendable attitude deserves to be highlighted.
