The bread was very hard.
The taste wasn't there.
The price was high.
13/01/2026: This establishment is truly unprofessional. I ordered a homemade burger (€8.90) without specifying anything else, and I ended up with the same burger on a plate (fries + salad), which came to €19.50, a difference of €10.60. When I pointed out the problem, I was told that a change wasn't possible. This is unacceptable...
My order was clear; I didn't specify that I wanted the plate option. That said, the portion of fries and salad was ridiculously small. It's completely absurd to charge €10 more for that.
The à la carte prices are still very high. You won't be seeing me again.

19/02/2026: A well-stocked menu, fresh and generous portions. Special mention for the perfectly cooked burger, which was a real treat. A professional welcome with a smile from the entire team. Homemade desserts that I highly recommend if you're unsure what to order.
It was my first time there, and I'll definitely be back.
12/02/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived without a reservation, and even though the first seating was full, we were able to be seated first. Very good value for money.

13/01/2026: Unpleasant service. The salesperson told us to hurry up and choose. They also made snide remarks. Luckily, one of their colleagues was there to improve things. Avoid at all costs.
09/01/2026: The portions are tiny. It was dry. The pizzas are good, but the tacos are flat as a pillow, the pasta doesn't have much cream, and the hamburgers have no toppings.
In short, give me my money back, it's a rip-off!

24/01/2026: Eat in, seated inside. A pretty nice place. Roadside diner style. The food is good for the price (a cut above the surrounding chip shops), but it's still just a snack, so it's mostly fries. There's a varied selection. Inside, it's hard to tell if it's a chip shop or a tavern (they offer specialty beers, cocktails, ice cream sundaes, etc.). You eat inside, but you pay at the takeaway counter. Regarding drinks: the iced tea is served directly into the glass (25cl), which is a bit pricey at €3... especially since it comes from a large bottle (€12 per liter). We don't mind the concept, but the price should reflect that. The wine is served in a tiny glass, like a liqueur glass (considering the price of boxed wine in France, and the price we pay, the glass could be a bit bigger). There's a glaring lack of music, and therefore, no atmosphere for eating in. The service was adequate. The bill was unclear because we paid at the takeaway counter, so we were standing in front of everyone waiting for their takeaway fries (thank goodness for the confidentiality of PIN codes), and above all, we were asked if we wanted the receipt (of the bank card obviously, even though we clearly saw the amount debited from our bank account), but we didn't have the receipt for the specific item consumed, so we couldn't verify it.
21/01/2026: Hello, I ordered an American-style burger with crudités (a play on words, referring to the crudités, which were two lettuce leaves), undercooked fries, and the meat was a disaster. I live nearby and have known three different owners. The first one was okay, but the other two were just garbage for 37 euros plus two people... Good luck!

Venu manger pour un repas entre collègues.
Pour commencer, la salle est très jolie et se veut raffinée.
Le service est agréable mais beaucoup d'attente pour être servit et le temps d'attente entre le plat et la commande des desserts a été interminable. Je suis partie avant la prise de commande des desserts laissant d'autres collègues finir leur repas.
Points positifs: les portions sont très généreuses et plutôt bonne.
Pour ma part, j'avais pris des rigatoni arrabiata. Assaisonnement très bon mais cuisson des pâtes pas maîtriser. Un peu trop de cuisson alors que j'adore les rigatonis Al dente. Pour le prix, ça reste raisonnable et le rapport qualité-prix est là.
Points négatifs : mettez la carte de votre restaurant à jour sur votre site. Des plats plus à la carte, des prix avec des écart de 2€.
Pour un restaurant qui se veut d'un certain standing, ça dénote un peu.
05/03/2024: Quelle déception ! ayant connu ce restaurant à ses débuts , ce n'est plus ça....le cadre , le service n'a pas changé mais ce qu'il y a sur la table oui. La viande est toujours d'excellente qualité ainsi que le vin , mais concernant le choix , la présentation et les desserts .....il faut revoir la copie. L'andouillette n'est plus au menu et le café gourmand n'en parlons pas ...tout est congelé (mon petit morceau d'opéra était encore gelé et la crème brulée un gout de frigo.) Dommage, on aimait bien venir là

17/05/2024: Superbe endroit pour se restaurer! On y mange très bien, le personnel est super sympa et les prix sont raisonnables! Ce samedi, un DJ assurait l'ambiance et vendredi, une soirée karaoké était organisée. Au très grand plaisir d'y retourner...

22/04/2024: Recommandé par un ami libraire à Maubeuge, ce restaurant où il prudent de réserver est fréquenté en grande partie par les bureaux du coin et des touristes. Situé au Centre de Maubeuge, il vous accueille dans une ambiance chaleureuse (le patron est belge) et vous propose quelques plats "brasserie" dans une ambiance "brasserie". Il y a quelques menus à des prix très démocratiques à la carte et qui sont servis assez rapidement et les plats sont bien garnis. Vous ne risquez pas d'avoir faim deux heures après. Un personnel dévoué, un patron qui supervise et sert lui aussi dans une bonne ambiance du Nord A visiter lors de votre passage dans la cité de Mabuse
