05/04/2024: Very nice restaurant right on the canal. The onion soup is delicious... the service is very attentive and friendly. It was a really nice evening.
03/04/2024: We stopped to eat there after walking along the canal. The atmosphere and food were excellent. Adele, the waitress, was wonderful with us and gave us very good recommendations regarding wines and desserts. The brioche was delicious. Totally recommended!

Came to eat quickly and well, we were quickly served so contract fulfilled.
Fair value for money for the starter/main course at €14.8.
In terms of cooking, the crispy beef was not bad, perhaps a little fatty.
Quite disappointed by the tartare, too much tomato and parmesan, we no longer feel the taste of beef. The fries weren't bad, and my neighbor's vegetarian lasagna wasn't bad either, but nothing incredible.

04/04/2024: We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, even coping with my very bad French!
Breakfast was really nice with fresh orange juice, pastries and a great selection of breads and cheese.
We had dinner one night and the lamb was really great. Also had drinks on another night and the negroni was really well made.
Really liked the touches such as complimentary bottles of water in reception to take to the room or for the day - small things like this really help make a stay.
Location was really convenient for line 7 on the metro and shops and other cafes/restaurants.

Very calm down and quite, good for a read or a work.
23/03/2024: LAWASI actually means “home”, as the friendly owner of this little coffeeshop let me know. Indeed, it’s a nice, quiet space with good coffee and a warm vibe.

Our memorable multi-course lunch was a steal at 35Euros per person. Loved the bright and chic bistro decor. I would describe the Sunday lunch as elevated comfort food, all beautifully plated and executed. The roasted chicken was the best I have had. The less than welcoming server lost a few stars for billing for a 90Euro wine after being asked for a 60Euro recommendation, but overall the meal was still a good value. Highly recommend and even brought home a copy of Amandine's cookbook.
