We are gin lovers: we ordered 2 Gin and Tonics, specifying our choice for Hendricks. They were served with a slice of lemon which changes the whole taste of this good Gin (normally it's cucumber) and schweppes in a can!!! Yes yes … And as an added bonus, an insolent waiter! In short, not a great evening…

04/04/2024: I booked for two people, we did not receive confirmation by email I went to the restaurant. I see my reservation on the screen, everything is fine. So two days later, I go to a quiet restaurant, 12:30 p.m., I have a reservation for two people, I give my name. I am told no reservations. OK it can happen. 12:30 p.m., it's very quiet, there must be three tables occupied but I'm placed at the very back of the restaurant next to the coffee machine, almost behind the bar. So our meal was not very pleasant, we were disturbed by the coffee machine, the constant passage behind the bar, the most surprising thing at that time and when I asked for a second glass of wine I had to ask again three times to get it while I'm literally glued to the bar. In short, a great disappointment, it’s a shame because the meat is very good. I won't set foot there again.

11/05/2024: Bad attention. Constant smell of tobacco inside the premises. The breakfast wasn't worth it either.

11/05/2024: Dishonest collection. Made us pay for a la carte dishes instead of 2 options, even though we pointed this out at the checkout. We will not come back.

13/01/2024: A great tea room, very cozy with a pretty vintage and family decor. The lemon meringue pie is amazing. Certainly, a little waiting time especially on a Saturday afternoon, but if you want to have a good time with friends, I recommend!

12/01/2024: MAMIE GATEAUX retired during these holidays. We are already missing the address. Thank you for all these years. One of my favorite addresses in Paris. The savory tarts offered at lunchtime are simply good, the vegetable crumble is excellent. But of course the name of the establishment gives the clue to the good part: LES PÂTISSERIES. They are all good. First up, the lemon meringue tart, as beautiful as it is delicious; she is just perfect. The gluten-free chocolate cake is to die for, the fig/almond and strawberry/rhubarb tarts are tasty, the cherry/pistachio tart combines the two flavors surprisingly well, the cheesecake and the carrot cake are delicious, etc... In short, if you like them pastries that aren't dressed up in spectacular decorum, that's where you have to go. The setting is peaceful and the sobriety of the boss and his employees is really appreciable. Always been well received.

01/05/2024: So disappointing! I ate here several years ago and had positive memories. This time, the food was mediocre at best, and the service was terrible. It was, unfortunately, our worst dining experience in Paris.

06/05/2024: Their carbonara is the best on the planet. They have ruined me from eating carbonara anywhere else for life. Great place in a busy area. Edit: They took the carbonara off the menu. They look to be under new ownership. Don’t waste your time. Whole place was mostly empty. What a waste.
