18/12/2024: This is the wine bar that actor Yudai Chiba visited on the NHK program "Choisumi in Paris" (broadcast in 2015?). It is famous for its raw oysters and can be enjoyed in a very casual manner. The bar is always full of locals, and the people drinking there are friendly and we had a great time.

It is still as unique for its welcome, its atmosphere, its cuisine and its wonderful team, as loyal as its customers. In three words Class, Elegance, Attention. We can therefore say that everything is Perfect in this place. And.. Tribute to Mr. Gérard Idoux

14/09/2024: The restaurant that we remember. Kind welcome and without trumpets, as it should be. Delicious moment. Attentive and efficient service. Creative menu, without fuss and abstruse culinary neologisms. Great team. I will come back!
10/09/2024: Fantastic food, the atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. The escargot was phenomenal, a must-have! The dinner was great, my recommendation would be the sea bass as it was light and tasty. One of the best sauces we've ever had with the sea bass! Highly recommend stopping here after a long day of visiting Paris.

I had a pancake and a crepe, they were excellent.
The welcoming and efficient team.
23/09/2024: We were nearby and the kids wanted crepes. We found this place and it definitely didn't dissapoint. We hadn't had galette before but the family enjoyed their dishes and kids loved their crepes. The cafe was super busy but the 2 waiters accomodated our big group and didn't miss a beat in a busy Sunday lunch service. Lovely!

25/09/2024: We loved the warm greeting as we entered the restaurant that felt as though we had walked into their home for dinner. The food was spectacular starting with the soup. Chef makes the best soups in Paris. The other starters are delicious as well. We had the veal which was cooked to perfection with a wonderful sauce. The tarte tatin is their signature dessert and I strongly recommend that you try it. Their other desserts are also superb. The meals are reasonably priced. The wines are excellent. We have been to many other highly rated restaurants in Paris and this chef ranks among the very best in Paris.

23/09/2024: Very lively atmosphere, great food, friendly service, nothing not to like here. Oysters were fabulous, ditto the chocolate layer cake. Roast chicken with mashed potatoes both solid. Recommended. Do make reservations!

01/12/2024: A quality service that we were able to appreciate throughout our lunch. The art of the table surprises us, each time a new plate which enhances the chef's presentation! The langoustines are tender, very pleasant are the combinations of flavors from the starter to the dessert. It was a great discovery.

10/09/2024: The steak was good but not great. The sauce was excellent, as was the salad; the meat slightly chewy. It was correctly made to order. However, the Duck Confit was heavenly. One of the best treats in Paris. The prices are very fair considering the vicinity to some major attractions.

10/08/2024: Of the 7 dishes on the set menu, two were masterpieces, appetizer, chicken. The rest is past. The selection of wines was also a mistake. serve such trivial cheap positions to finally finish off the set. I still don’t understand how, instead of 360 for the set, it turned out to be 580. It seems that I just ordered coffee and a digestif. But that's okay. The service was simply amazing.

04/12/2024: Café Voltaire is just fancy enough. The steaks were amazing, and green beans and fries were served for the table. I suggest the filet. The servers were attentive, and had no qualms about serving us in English. Desserts were good, I liked the profiteroles I shared. I didn’t really enjoy the chocolate mousse, but then again, that’s not my thing.

I visited this morning after making a lunch reservation on the website.
There are no particular advantages. The taste and service are so-so.
It's ok for the price
If you order a steak, use the knife that comes with the straight side, which is what we think of as the back side, not the round side. All other Koreans use the round side, but it doesn't cut, but it cuts with force. Haha.
28/09/2024: Very noisy..impossible to talk to each other...average quality..steak tartare cut with a knife is cut by machine...small portion of fish
