08/05/2026: An authentic restaurant where the food is excellent. They offer specialties as well as a daily menu. The waitresses are very attentive. The cheese platter is exceptional. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

12/10/2025: This was the highlight of our tour of the lakes and mountains of Auvergne. The Central Hotel is one of those establishments that have sadly disappeared from our landscape. Simply decorated, in a style reminiscent of a time when time flowed more slowly, allowing us to savor the present moment. Special mention goes to the cuisine, rich and indulgent, delighting the palates of visitors, especially hikers like ourselves.
