04/07/2026: We love coming for brunch with family or friends. At Sister Café, we feel right at home, with a warm and friendly welcome. The food? A new discovery every time we visit! From traditional dishes to more exotic fare, there's something for everyone. Hats off to the owner who works tirelessly to keep the buffet stocked, not to mention all the preparation work she does beforehand. In short, we love it and we'll be back!

20/08/2026: A rare and unforgettable moment: Auvergne beer with chestnut and gentian, hearty homemade regional cuisine (baked Saint-Nectaire cheese, sautéed potatoes, cured ham, sausage, salad: a generous and delicious portion), a good red wine from the Languedoc region by the glass, blueberry-raspberry tart, Velay verbena liqueur as a digestif... all served by a dynamic and smiling all-female team in a convivial dining room! The inn is currently brilliantly run by a young woman representing the third generation. Bravo and thank you! Just remember to book well in advance, as the place is very well-known and deservedly so. Next door, there's also a small shop offering homemade, local products (cured ham sliced ​​or in pieces, cheeses, sausages, pâtés in jars) as well as various handcrafted items (solid sheep's milk soaps and shampoos; wooden vases). In short, a place and people of exceptional quality...

02/09/2026: We went to eat there on the evening of September 2nd with a friend and weren't disappointed; it was a good restaurant with generous portions and a really friendly atmosphere.

29/08/2026: We arrived at 9:05 PM and sat outside. The manager came over and told us there was no outdoor service (in a very rude manner). We went inside and there were several empty tables. We wanted to sit at one, but he told us no, to sit at another (also very rudely, as if he was bothered that we were sitting in his restaurant). He told us that they closed at 10:00 PM; it was 9:08 PM. He went inside, spoke briefly with the cook who looked at us and shook his head. He brought us the menu, and we chose to share a hamburger between two people because we weren't very hungry, something the manager thought was ridiculous. He told us it was a problem and that it wasn't normal to come to a restaurant and order that. So we got up and left. I hope they learn to treat customers better. I didn't try the food, but I absolutely do not recommend the service and the rude attitude. I would never go back, nor would I recommend it.

From the outside, it doesn't look like much, especially since it used to be a working-class restaurant, but what a welcome and what food!! They were incredibly welcoming, the food was high quality, you could tell it was fresh and prepared with care, and frankly, we thoroughly enjoyed it 👍 We'll definitely be back. In any case, best of luck to the owners and their waitress!

27/08/2026: Passing through during our trek on the GR 441, we enjoyed a delicious truffade in the evening and a hearty breakfast the next morning, even though we weren't staying at the gîte. It's a great place to stop after a day of hiking or cycling, or after a stroll around Lake Servières. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is fantastic! We'll gladly return!

26/08/2026: We like you and have always eaten well at your restaurant. However, be careful not to let things get out of hand. After a hike with a guide, we recommended your restaurant to some tourists and accompanied them. It was noon. You gave them a deplorable, even surly, welcome. We can be thorough, but we should express it politely. You still had no one else to eat at the restaurant, and we asked if it would be possible to serve us an aperitif (for just two of us, as the others had already left...). Same answer. What a shame!

16/08/2026: As a regular at Bib Gourmand restaurants, this one exceeded my expectations. The welcome was perfect, and I didn't even have to ask for water during this heatwave. The waitress was very professional, knowledgeable about the ingredients, and able to describe them perfectly, even for a table of eight in a full restaurant. Every dish was excellent. Each time, there was a traditional option alongside something more original. An incredible price for a lunch of this quality, which I highly recommend to all budget-conscious food lovers. Just passing through, I must return... Well done!

20/08/2026: No luck with my choice of white wine. It was corked and there wasn't another one chilled, so I changed wines. A pleasant meal on the terrace on the first day back from holiday for restaurant owners.

Impeccable service... Top-notch across the board.

Her tone is direct and unfiltered, but she can certainly afford to be, given what comes out of the kitchen. The portions are incredibly generous, delicious, homemade, and the value for money is unbeatable. As the meal progresses, the armor melts away: a touch of irony takes over, witty banter is exchanged with plenty of humor, and her recommendations for the menu are impeccable. You end up putting the world to rights, discussing life, and genuinely laughing. A truly unique and characterful place, the kind you rarely find. Go there without a watch and with a smile. Don't even read the negative reviews!
