19/07/2026: While passing through the city, we wanted to eat and drink as locally as possible. Tucked away in an alley, we found La Cassolette. From the very first moment, we received a super friendly welcome, a beautifully presented menu, and even dogs had their own section. Throughout the evening, the service was absolutely top-notch. Delicious local dishes, good cheer, and a friendly atmosphere—everything was there for an unforgettable experience!

27/07/2026: Excellent! The pounti in a terrine was amazing. Everything was delicious! We had the truffade and the Saint-Nectaire cheese, and for dessert: the orange salad and the nougat glacé (with a wonderful red berry coulis). As for the service, you can tell the manager is incredibly professional; she serves with a master's touch, good humor, and lots of jokes! Highly recommended ❤️

26/07/2026: Excellent address: a most attentive welcome, refined and delicious cuisine, efficient service, a simple yet comprehensive wine list with some lovely selections (Vieux Télégraphe, Julien Pilon, etc.). A must-try if you haven't already!

12/07/2026: The food was excellent, but the service was a huge disappointment. After ordering two bottles of wine, they were placed on the counter, supposedly to create a "high-end restaurant" feel, but we were never refilled. Our glasses were all empty, so I went to get the bottle, but I was warned... I then asked the waitress to refill our glasses, as they were all dry, but she said, "Sorry, only the sommelier can do that." 🙄 Seriously, it's pathetic. I've never seen anything like it. I've been to some very fancy restaurants, and I swear our wine glasses were never empty. So instead of imposing ridiculous rules that affect your customers, put the bottle in the center of the table or check every five minutes to see if we need more wine!

28/07/2026: A huge thank you to the owner and his team for accommodating us late into the night. We thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in the cabin in the garden, which smelled wonderfully of wood and offered a refreshing escape. Excellent service, friendliness, and efficiency from the professionals at this hostel. Don't hesitate to stay here. A father and son from Le Mans.

25/07/2026: Thank you for your reply. The truffade and blueberry tart are known to be delicious. The only problem is, when I ordered them for an afternoon snack after a hike, I was told over the phone and at the time of ordering that they were out of blueberry tart. And as I was leaving, the waitress was serving generous slices to customers luckier than us.

Fresh ingredients, flavors suitable for all ages, relatively large portions, limited menu options but overall rich variety, well matched. My favorite thing is their puffs, with rich taste and flavor. I will definitely come back again if there is a chance.
