30/01/2026: A very nice bistro-restaurant, pleasant service, and a great menu: you come here looking for a small place to eat "specialties," and that's exactly what you get! The biggest plus is the value for money: good, generous portions, and inexpensive. The truffade could have been a little more charred for my taste, and the back room could be a touch cozier, but most importantly, we had a great time and a delicious meal! It's wonderful to be able to eat in old Royat under these conditions.

02/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! Refined and delicious cuisine, quality ingredients, and service that is both professional and warm. The setting is elegant and the atmosphere is perfect for a delightful experience. I highly recommend it.

21/02/2026: This restaurant has all the hallmarks of a fine dining establishment: a refined welcome, coats hung on hangers, a charming and beautifully decorated dining room, and high prices...except for the food itself. The dishes are poorly executed, flavor combinations are haphazard, vegetables are crunchy but actually undercooked, and the ravioli are sticky...in short, a huge disappointment! To top it all off, my partner's plates were smaller because he ordered the four-course menu, while I only had the three-course option...so we paid more for less generous portions (admittedly, there was one more course, but it feels stingy to have a greasy, cold 2cm² piece instead of two on your plate). At the same time, a restaurant that was two-thirds empty on a Friday night should have been a red flag.
