17/09/2026: Outstanding meal and service - could not and would not have changed a thing. Reasonably priced for a phenomenal meal. The wine recommendation was spot on as well as a thoughtful explanation of the menu. Love love love this bistro. Highly recommend and would revisit in a heartbeat. Being dog lovers also loved that it was a dog friendly establishment and the resident pupper is so sweet and lovely.

12/09/2026: The meal was excellent, with some bold choices in the dishes. The service was very good.

31/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant! The place is beautiful, very pleasant and welcoming. The meal was truly delicious, with excellent, flavorful, and perfectly prepared dishes. As for the service, it was simply perfect: welcoming, professional, and attentive from beginning to end. A truly wonderful experience that I highly recommend. We will definitely be back! 😊

26/05/2026: A wonderful time spent with the family. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

04/10/2026: Excellent baby squid and homemade fries! Efficient service! Very good light waffle. A varied menu with something for everyone, I highly recommend it.

03/10/2026: A truly wonderful experience! For the second year in a row, we came with about fifty people for a meal with current and former colleagues… everything was perfectly organized. We received a very warm welcome from the moment we arrived for the aperitifs, and the table service was particularly efficient. Managing to serve so many people almost simultaneously, with piping hot, high-quality dishes, is truly remarkable! The restaurant is very pleasant, with a warm, wood-paneled, and plant-filled decor that gives the place a lot of charm. The owners are very friendly, attentive, and helpful, as is the entire staff. The prices are very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Whether you're a couple, a family, or planning a large group meal, this is a place I recommend without hesitation. Simple, efficient, and welcoming: a sure bet! We will definitely return.

29/09/2026: Magnificent, the tiramisu is truly exceptional.

28/09/2026: Absolutely nothing to complain about, the value for money is exceptional, incredible homemade dishes for €20 a meal. I highly recommend it!

07/09/2026: Completely late with this review, but here goes. Le Bistrot Toqué has been my downstairs neighbor for seven years. Sometimes I have patients who come from far away and occasionally ask me where to eat, and without hesitation, I direct them to the ground floor. It's very simple: I've never had a single negative comment. In seven years. Not a single remark, only praise. I should point out (and this isn't to complain ;) ) that every time I go there, I pay (in that order) for my beer, my meal, and my coffee, and this review is entirely unpaid. Since I've been meaning to do this for so long, my conscience is a little lighter.

28/08/2026: Delicious! A very affordable lunch menu, generous portions, and above all, delicious and well-prepared dishes! The service is good and the staff very pleasant, a 10/10!

09/08/2026: The tapas were really poor quality. The rabas were undercooked, the chips for the guacamole were too much, not up to par at all!

08/08/2026: Excellent service, 🙂 super friendly waiter, the bar is super beautiful, pleasant atmosphere, I love it, excellent prices, I'm fascinated, I recommend it

21/05/2026: A wonderful time enjoying delicious tapas accompanied by a good dry cider served in the traditional way. The owner is really very friendly, as are all the staff (family atmosphere). This place was recommended to us by the Routard guide and it truly deserves it. Don't hesitate to go and recommend it to anyone you know if you're ever in Anglet. Excellent value for money too.

16/05/2026: A super warm welcome, top-notch service, and a team with Olympic-level patience 😅 A huge thank you again 🙏🏻 I had booked a "small" birthday meal for 16 or 17 people… which turned into a marathon lunch that lasted until late afternoon! 🙈 We had a wonderful time: the dishes were delicious, generous, and there wasn't a single disappointment. Special mention goes to the cider, which is truly excellent… although, let's be honest, we were quickly tempted by the cocktail menu. And there… it was impossible to resist: they are divine 🍸👌🏻 Despite our ability to stretch out lunch for hours, our lively conversations, and a few moments of inattention, the staff remained lovely, smiling, and very professional from beginning to end ✨ A superb place that I highly recommend, and where I will gladly return! 😁

18/09/2026: A very warm welcome. Creative and delicious cuisine using local produce. It was good from start to finish. A must-try.

12/09/2026: A very good first visit: the food, the location, and the prices won us over. We will be back.

07/09/2026: Delicious and generous platter to share. Friendly atmosphere.

06/09/2026: Pretty cool snack bar, reasonable prices, good atmosphere. All the servers are very pleasant except for one in particular who was truly awful. Completely rude and disdainful. Just the kind of qualities that make for great customer loyalty. Luckily I was in a good mood…

18/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, open only for lunch. Generous portions; I loved the baby squid. Fast service, great staff, and a friendly atmosphere.

15/07/2026: Everything on the menu is homemade.... Exceptional service.... Professionals who love their work....

05/06/2026: The construction trades know this place well and come to this friendly restaurant to refuel for the afternoon. You feel right at home in the welcoming, family atmosphere where people chat cheerfully with one another. The service is quick and efficient. The menu is generous and reasonably priced for fresh, carefully selected, and well-prepared ingredients. The daily special when we had lunch there was an excellent brandade de morue (salt cod purée). You can go there expecting a hearty meal at a very reasonable price.
