26/04/2026: The restaurant excels in its cuisine, ambiance, and service, thanks to its authenticity. It even inspired an old tradition my uncle used to follow when everything was perfect: bursting into song (or even shouting!) a Luis Mariano song without warning anyone. "Mexico" would have been perfect, but I'd forgotten the lyrics. I'll learn them and definitely be back! Love is a bouquet of violets! Thank you to the amazing team!

26/04/2026: This is a very nice, tiny restaurant in the heart of Bidart. The food is imaginative and satisfying. See the attached pictures with captions. The only criticism is that the lamb was exceptionally fatty and had less lean meat on it than expected. The wine list is extensive for such a small restaurant. Altogether an excellent dining experience.

03/05/2026: Location is amazing. Beach, shopping, dining and scenic spots all a quick walk away. Staff is very friendly and try to be as helpful as they can. The room was tight, very close quarters. That’s okay if you only need the room for sleeping and a quick shower but if you plan to spend any length of time in the room, consider a larger accommodation. Hotel shows equipped with AC but it is seasonal and unfortunately beginning of May temps did not bring the switch from heat to AC so we were very warm. Opening the windows to bring in the ocean air helped but with that came the noise and smell of the cafe and diners below. As well as the flies. That made for a rough night. We started the day tired and bug bit, but wiser….”always call ahead and ensure the AC is turned on”. Overall the hotel was fine for an overnight stay that was a whim to hit the beach for Labour Day.

03/05/2026: Excellent hotel, very good location, comfortable rooms although the bathroom is poorly lit. The most outstanding thing about the hotel is the reception staff, super friendly, attentive, and helpful. I recommend it without a doubt. Alberto Tabanera de Lucio

15/04/2026: A view into the kitchens… the atmosphere is set! A sharp-eyed waitress, attentive and caring! A real pleasure! We were hesitating over desserts, but no problem, we got our desserts and, as a bonus, a sample of the chocolate mousse that had been tempting us! A real gem! The feedback from the other diners was immediate… a chef who clearly appreciates the compliments! Now, let's talk about the food! Quality local ingredients, generous and flavorful cuisine. A mayonnaise so good you could take some home in a doggy bag! A sirloin steak so tender you could cut it with a fork, a peppercorn sauce that delighted my taste buds! As you can see… we were won over! You've just gained two loyal customers! Congratulations to you both! And thank you!
