22/08/2026: Impatient people beware! My first time at La Paillote, arrived at 7:18 pm, first tapas at 8 pm. Good, but the sea bream rillettes at €10 is a bit excessive for me. Two very good and well-presented main courses, no complaints there. As for the Pavlova, my favorite dessert, meh, I've had much better. Too sweet and no fruit, just a tiny strawberry insert. I'll let you judge for yourselves. A bill of €100 for two is still relatively high. Finished at 9:30 pm for 2 cocktails, 2 tapas, 2 main courses, 2 coffees, and a dessert. In short, an ideal restaurant for digesting between courses 😉

19/08/2026: Delicious food, everything is homemade and it shows. I'm usually a bit wary of beachfront restaurants, but this one is definitely worth a visit. Between the cozy decor and the top-notch service, everything enhances the chef's cuisine even more!

26/08/2026: Everything was perfect! The owners were incredibly kind to our children. I've rarely seen that in a restaurant, and it truly deserves to be highlighted. The food was absolutely delicious. This restaurant is definitely a great place to find it!

15/08/2026: While on holiday in Canet, we discovered this fantastic Portuguese restaurant! The menu was generous, the food was delicious and well-prepared, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was great. The caipirinha was amazing!! Thank you to Fanny and Claire for the warm welcome. We couldn't say goodbye as the restaurant was closed when we arrived too late. See you soon! 17/05/2026: Amazing location, great sized rooms with some great views. Really friendly staff, I'm celiac and they went above and beyond to make sure I was catered for. So much to do locally within walking distance, highly recommend the aquarium and the way the entire thing is done is on big story, very well done and educational.

Everything was absolutely perfect: a warm welcome, impeccable service with an incredibly kind and genuinely caring waiter. The homemade cocktails are delicious, and the tapas... a real treat! Flavorful, generous portions, perfectly prepared. A truly enjoyable experience, a superb atmosphere. Well done and thank you for this wonderful experience! We will definitely be back.

23/04/2026: Overall impression: good location. But: You come here (among other things) to sleep. So what do you need? Bedding! It’s not fair that you have to pay extra for it (that information is buried deep in the Booking.com listing). It’s nice to arrive tired and be able to crawl straight into bed, instead of having to make up four beds. Moreover, the sheets are too narrow, so you still wake up next to your sheets on the mattress itself the next morning. Furthermore, the rooms need some maintenance: the shutters don’t close properly, there are no towel hooks in the bathroom, and the outlets are hard to reach and few in number. So, here are some tips to make your stay even more enjoyable. A big plus: the breakfast was delicious and very complete, served by a team of lovely family members!

05/08/2026: We received a warm welcome at this restaurant despite our late arrival (11 pm). There was a lovely, cozy atmosphere on the terrace with string lights and a small lamp, right across from the beach. The food and service were excellent! 👌🏽 I highly recommend it.

The manager is attentive and takes excellent care of his customers. A restaurant that stands out from the competition, which is quite extensive in Canet-en-Roussillon.

23/08/2026: It was summertime, so it was quite crowded, which doesn't explain the mistakes on my ticket... as a tourist, you feel a bit ripped off. The prices were a bit high and the store was rather messy, which is a shame...
