24/11/2025: A perfect neighborhood restaurant in the middle of a residential no-man's-land, in the heart of Lyon's 8th arrondissement medical district, near the Natecia Clinic and the funeral home district!
A great little neighborhood restaurant, just the way we like them, with regulars at the bar and a bartender who creates a lively atmosphere: darts are on the agenda.
A warm welcome and atmosphere, and good, simple, homemade food: a set menu and a glass of wine 🍷 all for under €25.
Thank you to La Maison du Petit Régal for the comfort and this welcome meal on a rainy day, an hour before attending a funeral. Highly recommended!

18/11/2025: I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, given the reviews. The daily special was really good (and only €11.50), and the service was quick (almost too quick, with the waiter constantly watching you).
However, not everything on the menu was available (for example, the croque monsieur); also, the ventilation must be inadequate because there was quite a bit of cooking smoke in the restaurant.
16/08/2025: The food is good and the service is professional. Parking is quite easy (perhaps due to the summer period).

Pleasant and helpful staff.
Simple room, clean, bathroom a bit small but overall no need for more for me.
Breakfast not bad.
Car parking good but a little expensive.
A good hotel frequented I will return without hesitation.

21/05/2024: We were warned, but not finding a table in a nearby restaurant, we took the risk... and understood why the reviews are bad. The dishes we had were ridiculously tiny, eaten in 3 bites, without any taste interest and expensive! Anything to displease. The waiters and waitresses do their best, but their kindness cannot make up for the treatment that the caterer and the management of this place reserve for its customers (for just 1 evening that's for sure).
