24/11/2025: A perfect neighborhood restaurant in the middle of a residential no-man's-land, in the heart of Lyon's 8th arrondissement medical district, near the Natecia Clinic and the funeral home district! A great little neighborhood restaurant, just the way we like them, with regulars at the bar and a bartender who creates a lively atmosphere: darts are on the agenda. A warm welcome and atmosphere, and good, simple, homemade food: a set menu and a glass of wine 🍷 all for under €25. Thank you to La Maison du Petit Régal for the comfort and this welcome meal on a rainy day, an hour before attending a funeral. Highly recommended!

21/06/2026: The worst salad I've ever eaten. Extremely expensive for what you get! The breaded chicken slices were as thin as a hair, and the grilled ravioli had no flavor whatsoever. The bread slices were cut so thin and small it was ridiculous. The salad was so dry, with no dressing or seasoning, that I had to ask for some. The waitress even wondered if there was actually any dressing on my plate. We asked the waiter to bring us a napkin… he never came back. In short, a disaster. We left disgusted and annoyed.

09/06/2026: The gentleman didn't deign to serve us, but when it came to serving his friends, no problem...

20/06/2026: We bought three Caesar salads today: the carrots had a very strong acetone smell and taste, which seemed to contaminate the rest of the salad. We couldn't finish our meal because it seemed abnormal. We were very disappointed by this experience.

14/06/2026: Hello, I've known the Paul bakery very well for years, but unfortunately, when the heat returns, there's no air conditioning. The young people who work there are exhausted 😩. With the heat, it's not normal to work in such conditions. As a customer, I've witnessed it firsthand. Things have changed since then, which is a real shame. Sincerely,

07/07/2026: A terrace that instantly transports you to vacation mode! Nathalie is always welcoming and warm. A friendly restaurant where time stands still, somewhere between the Taulier and Betty Boop. 😊 👍

28/04/2026: The welcome wasn't warm, there was no respect for the customer... what a shame.

26/06/2026: The welcome was disastrous: the waiter took your order and told you he'd already sold half the menu. As a result, only one salad and two main dishes were left. The food was good, but the welcome and service were appalling.

26/03/2026: Standard food, neither good nor bad, it does the job for lunch (if you're not in a hurry...). However, the service and atmosphere of the restaurant were deplorable! The men there were all unfriendly. We won't be back!

11/06/2026: Quality budget hotel where everything essential works. Not the wifi which is miserable. Almost enough hangers, hooks and shelves. The shower hanger could be better. Thanks for the good breakfast. Perhaps worth noting that there are two Ibis Part-Dieu hotels in Lyon. We went first to the wrong one. Both are within walking distance from the Part-Dieu railway station.

11/06/2026: Due to the rail strike, my train was cancelled, and I cancelled my reservation. Having prepaid, the fare conditions do not provide for a refund. I contacted the hotel by email to reschedule, but without success, as my cancellation was made too late. Since SNCF only notifies its customers 48 hours before departure, it's difficult to anticipate a cancellation! My scheduled business meeting has been postponed until early July, so I will avoid booking a room in an Accor hotel. I am also considering cancelling a pending reservation for Paris for July 2nd and 3rd. At over €200 per night, I was hoping for some kind of compensation from the Accor group; oh well!
