10/05/2024: 10/05/24 Pseudo meatless couscous at 18th The meat is dipped in the sauce to add flavor. There are even pieces of meat left. I asked for meatless couscous which is on the menu which means that I don't want the meat to appear in the sauce cooking process. It's logical, isn't it? So why cheat? Do you think about people with allergies? Vegan ? Are you stupid? I point this out to the waiter and he is not happy! What nerve ! He asks me if I would like another dish. Um OK but there are only dishes with meat! Double stupid! In addition, extra fine semolina so no chewiness, it stays in the tooth and undercooked canned chickpeas. And it's been called a restaurant since 1977 and the best couscous in Lyon... Even the couscous in a tray on the market is better! A couscous for tourists without palate. A shame, never again at Bougaci the bugger!
