Le Rendez-Vous des Amis
Tarare
27/10/2026: I highly recommend it!! The food is delicious and high quality, with a good variety of choices.
The welcome is very warm, the owner is friendly and makes you want to come back, which we will definitely do!
26/10/2026: Hello
Very disappointed with the service! The waitress was extremely unpleasant! Not a smile at all! Borderline vulgar! The wait was incredibly long—an hour!
The portions were tiny!
I suggest you clean your toilets, which were disgusting! Traces of feces on the wall, and the toilet bowl and floor were filthy! In short, my first and last experience at this restaurant, which I absolutely do not recommend!

The Popote
Tarare
09/10/2026: A wonderful culinary discovery on the pedestrian street in Tarare.
The owner is a true master of his craft; a big thank you, as this is becoming increasingly rare.
Highly recommended.

Le Bistrot de Madeleine
Tarare
29/08/2026: In my opinion, this is the bar you absolutely must visit when you arrive in Tarare. Full of stories, the owner knows the history of Tarare inside and out. Don't hesitate to ask him about the history of the area opposite the Madeleine church, a truly exceptional site. The coffee is incredibly smooth and delicious. I highly recommend it if you're passing through Tarare; I was genuinely surprised by this family-run café.
22/05/2026: We come here for the coffee, and we appreciate this café-bar where we are always very well received. Special thanks for opening at 6 a.m. That's rare.

L'Ardoise Gourmande
Tarare
08/09/2026: It's 35°C (95°F), and I booked a table on the terrace at 10:30 am for a 9-year-old and myself.
At noon, the waitress squeezed us between two walls and a plexiglass screen under the awning.
There were two of us, one inside and one outside (not under the awning).
She refused to move us to another table.
We left and went to have a picnic in the shade.
Not only will I never set foot in that place again, but she can forget about me for any advertising. Avoid at all costs!
04/07/2026: We had a wonderful lunch on the terrace...fresh ingredients, very professional service...and generous portions...I highly recommend it
