30/09/2025: To follow up on my review of your 1.50€ baguette, check out the reviews of the bakery "Les 3 petits pains" in Moulins, I bought an excellent 1€ baguette there today...so there are some who know how to make it!
21/09/2025: Spending a week in Saint Paulien, we visited this bakery several times. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, and above all, they offered excellent products, whether it was the bread, the pastries, the generous sandwiches at €3.70 🤩, the pizzas, the quiches, the puff pastries, the delicious Ruessien, and the formidable autumn tart.
A highly recommended establishment.

31/12/2025: A truly wonderful discovery! This restaurant is run by a single person, and it's impressive to see so much passion and professionalism combined. The welcome is warm, and you immediately feel at ease. The dishes are carefully prepared, flavorful, and generous; you can taste the homemade quality and the love for the craft. Despite running the restaurant alone, the service remains attentive and pleasant. An authentic place that I highly recommend; congratulations on this remarkable work!

Market menu.
Starter: The fried food wasn't crispy, and the small fish weren't fried enough.
Main course: Pork knuckle with mixed vegetables; it was cold and swimming in 3 cm of tasteless sauce. Many people rave about this place, but as a recent arrival to Bresse, I won't be going back.
21/10/2025: Incredible, starter, main course, and dessert were truly top-notch.
The pink trout with its baby vegetables and preserved lemons smelled as good as it tasted. 🤤
And dessert was the floating island with pralines, something I've never seen before and very impressive. A perfect sauce to accompany the floating island. Generous, high-quality dishes.
We waited a little, but it was worth giving the chef time to work his magic! Thank you to them for this discovery!

29/08/2025: Forgotten by the waitress for 45 minutes, we had to go to the bar ourselves to order our drinks. The owner didn't even glance at us, clearly seeing that no one was ordering at their table. "Don't come today," he told us. A money-making machine... for a meal that's supposed to be the daily special.

14/08/2024: Discovered this nice restaurant on the way back from France to Freiburg. Very nice courtyard with a great wall design, which serves as a stage background on Fridays for great singing and show performances.

Louhans is typically the town that we pass through…
So we stopped for lunch.
A very short menu, which is an indicator with fresh products.
A daily menu at €22 that I recommend.
An extra smoothly service led by the chef’s wife.
Elegantly presented dishes.
A careful decoration.

26/08/2024: Partis de Lons le Saunier en vélo ce lundi matin, très contents de notre choix de nous arrêter déjeuner à La Poularde... menu Express très bien, produits frais, service impeccable et rapide, jeunes serveurs souriants et attentionnés, nous reviendrons!
17/08/2024: Tous les plats étaient excellents et bien présentés. Service par une jeune apprentie très professionnelle et très agréable. Le repas en terrasse était très appréciable.

12/08/2024: Alors expérience très décevante 20 minutes d'attente pour prendre l'apéritif et commande des plats 19,50€ pour des fritures dans un petit caquelon accompagné d'une dizaine pas plus pas de pain a table ma compagne 5 morceaux de poulets pas plus on s'en tire pour 61€ a payée ayant encore faim j'ai même du m'arrêter au mc do avant de rentré tellement la quantité était très très limitée a fuire vraiment c'est un conseil
