22/06/2026: Excellent food that somewhat makes up for the disastrous service. An hour and fifteen minutes just for the starter! If you're in a hurry, unfortunately, this isn't the place for you.
Having tried it this winter, I found the calf's head less generous this time than the first time, which is a real shame.
The terrace is pleasant thanks to its location, although it could use a good cleaning.

11/07/2026: One really sweet waitress but the others stood around the bar area and after rather a long time I had to ask someone to bring me a menu. I accept my French is terrible. I ordered the chicken kebab but some of the meat was still raw in the middle. I sent it back and ordered a green salad instead. Few options in this little town but best you avoid. Shame really!

30/06/2026: Terrible experience! Too cramped. Too noisy. Long wait between courses. Insufficient and unqualified staff.
It took 30 minutes to order dessert, so we left before then! The rosé wine was undrinkable, and when we mentioned it to the manager, his response was: "Yes, we're aware..." Avoid on Mondays, market day...
09/06/2026: A set menu for €16.90. Very good.

A must-visit in our lovely city!
09/07/2026: We were strolling around... We saw the daily special: mussels, fries, dessert...
The restaurant was full, but the staff found us a table from inside, moved it outside, and voilà, the experience was perfect.
Excellent mussels in generous portions. A generous dessert and a very reasonable price. Truly, an excellent place!

Highly recommended.
10/06/2026: Our starter and main course arrived at the table at the same time. Which was not requested and was not the intention either. The fault of the person who answered the phone. (She came to apologize.) When we went to pay, they were laughing at us. Wrong, they don't really like accepting tourists.

07/04/2026: The calf's head was a delight. A generous portion, and the service was incredibly fast. Never disappointed. Don't forget to book, especially on Mondays, market day, as it's a popular spot.
06/04/2026: A pleasant visit on market day, with very friendly staff but a very disappointing meal. The chicken with morels was tasteless, the sauce unsalted, and they charged an extra €5 for morels, which only served one. I won't be going back.

09/03/2026: The waitress, completely unfazed, came over to tell us, "I'll take the bread back; I don't have any more for the table that just arrived." Shameful...
We were asked three times if our order had been taken.
Wait time between ordering and receiving our meal: 20-25 minutes for a total of 30 covers in the restaurant.
However, the youngest Asian waitress made a bit more of an effort.
The shrimp skewer, though, was quite good.
10/02/2026: New ownership and new name: The 28th. Excellent regional menu.
Well-cooked, beautifully presented, and with fast service.

12/08/2024: Alors expérience très décevante 20 minutes d'attente pour prendre l'apéritif et commande des plats 19,50€ pour des fritures dans un petit caquelon accompagné d'une dizaine pas plus pas de pain a table ma compagne 5 morceaux de poulets pas plus on s'en tire pour 61€ a payée ayant encore faim j'ai même du m'arrêter au mc do avant de rentré tellement la quantité était très très limitée a fuire vraiment c'est un conseil
