22/09/2024: After two original and excellent starters, a sublime grouper for two, perfectly cooked. A little noisy but with your feet in the water you forget everything. I recommend.

22/09/2024: Really pleasant setting and atmosphere, on the edge of the beach, perfectly decent cuisine, the service is friendly but there can be a long wait, this is a recurring problem in more and more restaurants with the lack of staff. Slightly expensive prices which have not improved since recent inflation. But the success is there....better to reserve the weekend!

02/01/2026: New owner and new name, with a completely renovated shop. You'll still find the same focus on quality products: charcuterie, hams, fine cheeses, and of course, the ever-popular raclette sandwich 🙂 An establishment that retains its authenticity while embracing modernity. Just a word of advice to the new owner: pay attention to the quality of the bread, it's important.

09/12/2025: New name, Le Grenier des Alpes, new shop and new owner, replacing Le Gaulois. Perfectly selected products from local artisans in wines, confectionery, charcuterie, a lovely tasting area at the back of the shop and still great sandwiches. Finally, smiling and friendly owners.

20/05/2024: It seems wrong to say our experience was 'average', but to say we enjoyed the experience and the food would not be the truth. We ordered the Tasting Menu with some tweaks. We appreciated the ingredients and the processes, but we didn't walk away from dinner thinking wow! There were highlights (scallop), but mainly 'what are we eating' (nettle and milk skin was strange and like eating plastic) and overwhelming flavours (Turnip Broth and Lake Fish Chervil) or too many flavours (Ballade 34). We are fortunate to have experienced a 3 Star Michelin restaurant, but for us it was anticlimactic.

01/11/2024: The taste is quite pleasant, but the real concern lies in the price of bakery products. Sorry to bring this up, but the locals don't call you "Gandhi Bandit" for no reason.

04/04/2024: Food is great but overpriced…52 euros per person for a fondue with meat - and it’s a great fondue…but the service….they are too busy on the tables dropping a bundle ……so unless you ar spending a fortune- go elsewhere

09/03/2024: While atmosphere and food may be nice but the service is atrocious. Everyone in the team seemed confused… food items took too long and even after the wait there were mistakes in what came to the table. No real effort made in service or ensuring customers have a good time.. it was just about dumping the items on the table & moving on.

13/03/2024: Il s agit d'un lieu atypique, j'y viens depuis presque 10 ans et je ne suis jamais déçu des produits d'excellente qualité et issus de leur propre élevage. J'adore le fait de pouvoir acheter le fromage a un prix juste pour leur exploitation. Il y a peu de places à l intérieur donc pensez à réserver.

14/03/2024: Lors de notre séjour à l'hôtel nous avons choisi de diner au restaurant. La carte est très complète et les plats sont très bons et le cuisinier est généreux. L'équipe en salle est aux petits soins pour leurs clients. Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cet établissement
