29/05/2024: I visited Corchavel Resort for the 5th time. I have the worst experience in Corchavel in this restaurant. We were a group of 10 people. The manager and the main waitter responsable to serve our table were extremely rude. 1st they refuse to do separate bill which we don't have a problem with. 2nd, we chose a wine from their wine list, and the waitter was very rude and sarcastic because we didn't choose the expensive wine bottle, and he said to us I wouldn't drink this wine, we just closed a wine that suits us and we didn't ask him what's he drink. Although we try to order most of the food that he wants us to order to please him but it ends he fight and rise his voice on me because I used the pouch of paper to try devide the payment on my group and he fight with me because I spiled the bill poch and he said this cost the restaurant 3 euro and our bill was over 2,000 euro.
The restaurant atmosphere is very nice and food is not bad however the manager and main waitter are very un polite and rude and I was humiliated.
If you are not going to order the expensive wine and the most expensive food don't go there because you will be treated very badly.

05/04/2024: Rarely have to deal with an owner with not only lack of charm but also with a clear discomfort in dealing with customers.
This rude man, yelling at customers that were waiting for their sandos, only got more uncomfortable and ruder when more people were getting there to grab a bite (yes, full house and he was behaving in a more deplorable way after every move).
To make things worse, after paying and claiming the ticket, he even dared to say that 'in France you have to ask it in advance' just showing their foreign guests the French cliché of mistreatment and rudeness. The more is to say, I didn't get the receipt.
Price and quality are okayish for Courchevel, but be aware that dealing with this kind of being may give you an indigestion. Better grab a quick lunch at the supermarket around the corner.
16/03/2024: On the advice of a friend in the hot seat, I wanted to test this little shop.
At 9th the sandwich, I expected much better: half a slice of cheese fighting a duel with a quarter of country ham, it was really very light. The products are good, but the quantity is minimal and the price exuberant.

08/08/2024: Opening announced on Google at 7:30 a.m. When you arrive there, a sign announces the opening at...8am. In the end, at 8:25 a.m., there is still no one there...except around ten customers who are hanging around!!!

20/05/2024: It seems wrong to say our experience was 'average', but to say we enjoyed the experience and the food would not be the truth. We ordered the Tasting Menu with some tweaks. We appreciated the ingredients and the processes, but we didn't walk away from dinner thinking wow! There were highlights (scallop), but mainly 'what are we eating' (nettle and milk skin was strange and like eating plastic) and overwhelming flavours (Turnip Broth and Lake Fish Chervil) or too many flavours (Ballade 34). We are fortunate to have experienced a 3 Star Michelin restaurant, but for us it was anticlimactic.

20/02/2024: Rarement vu une table aussi réussie pour un « simple »étoilé
Si l’accueil est simple et discret la table est géniale et explosive
Même les farfalle sont sublimés
Et que dires des sauces ,du pigeon de la truite et des parfums sur tout les plats...

Bref chapeau au chef et à son équipe
Dommage que vous soyez si loin de la Bretagne
En tout cas je reviendrai bien et je trouve humblement que vous mériteriez d’être récompensé encore davantage.
02/02/2024: This was our first trip to Courchevel and we had an amazing experience thanks to the whole team at Strato. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a luxury ski holiday.
- Location: Strato is very well located with ski in ski out access and amazing view of the mountains. The location is also more quiet than the village however extremely convenient to move around thanks to the complimentary shuttle cars.
- Ski room: I'm beginner however had an amazing experience thanks to the whole team at the BO ski room, it's a truly luxury experience and always great to chat with the team before and after ski.
- Spa: Strato has a pretty large spa compared to the size of the hotel, the pool is very nice and has great view of the snow mountain.
- Service: This is where Strato truly stands out. We have stayed in many luxury hotels around the world however Pierre is by far THE BEST concierge I have ever come across. The pre arrival arrangements were extremely helpful and Pierre knows everything about Courchevel inside out, and always happy to help. Our stay could not have been as good without Pierre.
Thank you Pierre and the whole team for the amazing stay. We will be back soon.

26/03/2024: Les serveurs ne nous entendaient jamais et ne regardaient jamais vers notre table pour voir si nous avions besoin de quelque chose. Résultat , nous devions presque crier pour attirer leur attention et être servis. Incompréhensible car le restaurant était presque vide.
15/03/2024: La pieuvre était très petite et avait un goût vieux, le directeur a refusé d'échanger le repas. Le service n'était pas attentionné pendant le repas.
