18/04/2026: Upon arrival, you immediately notice the impeccable cleanliness of the establishment: tiles, tables, bar, glasses, and even the restrooms. This is essential for us, and it's perfectly upheld here.
The €21.90 set menu is very reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity offered, and the homemade fries are excellent ;)
The service is well-managed: water, bread… everything is brought without even having to ask, which is very much appreciated.
A few minor points for improvement, however:
- The whipped cream was of rather poor quality and sold in a store-bought container.
A Hugo Spritz served in a glass that wasn't quite the right size.
Nothing major, just easily correctable details...
Thank you to this establishment for the quality offered; I highly recommend it. 👍

27/03/2026: Hunting down hidden gems, unearthing hidden bistros, that's my credo. Tucked away in a tiny village, bordered by a busy ring road on one side and the towpath on the other, this Norman restaurant is a haven for those in the know. No flashy posters outside, yet the place is always packed. Inside, there's no fuss, no stuffy waiters reciting the menu like poetry. The food is beautiful, it's delicious, and the value for money is excellent.

13/03/2026: I had a reservation at your establishment for 12:30 PM today. The service was far too fast; I barely had time to enjoy an aperitif before the main courses arrived five minutes later! The steak tartare was quite good, though a bit bland. The waiter was pleasant, but the manager or owner at the till was very cold, not a smile, and seemed stressed and touchy because he didn't appreciate us changing tables. The manager needs to learn to smile in all circumstances; we spend money to be satisfied from beginning to end.
05/03/2026: It seems to me that the quality of the food has declined. I went there in February and the Normandy salad was listed as having new potatoes: disappointed, they were cold potatoes from the day before.
I went back today and the salmon steak was dry and overcooked.

08/09/2023: I do not recommend this bar restaurant. Aperitif the amount of an excessive glass of whiskey 7 euros for the couscous 15 euros (I did not eat the real couscous that I eat) the service remains to be reviewed (waitress overwhelmed by the number of customers)
