Pay attention to the wait after ordering the dish and serving it. You will have to wait 15/20 minutes because of the heavy crowds during rush hour. I highly recommend this restaurant!

01/03/2024: The gentleman at the checkout today who was chatting with someone I just told him that we were in a hurry that we had to go to work, he got angry saying that he was also working outside that his friend was there to take his coffee. I don't think he deserves to be insulted by his small, rather old colleague. When you work in a neighborhood with a lot of people, this should be understandable, but no, they decided to be aggressive and vulgar. A shame It's nice to put on a suit to sell cigarettes but when the attitude doesn't follow... fortunately there are other businesses around because we won't go back there either to eat or to go to the tobacconist. Good day to you.
29/02/2024: Unpretentious place but the dishes are good and plentiful for reasonable prices. The staff very welcoming, efficient and very friendly. Very good value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant.

14/12/2023: I wanted to share my opinion on my one-week stay, unfortunately I was not on vacation but visiting a loved one in intensive care in a hospital located near the hotel. I am really satisfied with the week that I was able to spend at the Campanile, my stay there was pleasant and relaxing. The room is very correct and clean, redone every day without the slightest negligence. Breakfast is good and with plenty of choice. And above all, there is real tranquility there. Above all, I would obviously like to thank the entire team who welcomed me during my stay, who are very professional, welcoming, and warm. There for the slightest request for information. It really made my stay easier, and I thank them for that. The only negative point I would find with this hotel is unfortunately the location because it is not served by many shops nearby. If I have to return to Paris, I would obviously come back to this hotel. So maybe see you soon!

28/03/2024: Simply filthy! The 'homemade' displayed in front of the restaurant is a lie, except perhaps for the cooking, and even there, it leaves something to be desired. We arrived a little before noon, hungry. Eggs and mayonnaise as a starter, wilted salad and a Milanese escalope from an oil bath, accompanied by a smear of disgusting tomato sauce (I couldn't even eat the fries, because they were cold and soft). We had to deal with poor quality food which made me sick 🤢 for the rest of the day. We have reported these issues to the server several times. Faced with our remarks, his reaction was only to shrug his shoulders, before finally advising us to mention our dissatisfaction at the checkout when leaving.
10/03/2024: We arrived for 7 seats, we were offered a table of 6 with the addition of another table which ultimately did not happen. We called a waiter because we had been waiting for a long time, in short the waiter called a waitress to take our order. No reaction, so we got up to leave the establishment very disappointed. 21/10/2023: I don't recommend it to ANYONE. They literally stole an iPad from us! The location is close to taking the metro to the center but it is in probably the worst neighborhood in Paris, very ugly and everywhere you see only people sleeping on the street. We went with a 6-month-old baby and the truth is that we didn't feel safe at all. The rooms are nice, that will be the only good thing. Although it is strange that they have two types of bathroom in different areas of the room, one for showering and the other for toilet. But the real reason why I don't recommend this hotel to anyone is because they literally robbed us! We left an iPad mini in one of the rooms when we left, the iPad had the location turned on and we can see that the last location before it was deleted was in the hotel. We realized we had left it 2 hours after leaving, we called the hotel and they cordially told us that they had two iPads, one large and one small, and that we could go pick it up to see if it was ours. It took us about 30 minutes from that and when we arrived the man at the reception told us that it was a “communication error”, they only had a large iPad with an old black case (ours was new, mini and a pink case). They show it to us and say that they never said they had two. That the communication problem would probably be the language. But that excuse DOESN'T WORK because the person who spoke to them over the phone was some of our relatives who live around Paris, they were even born there, so it wasn't the language. In 30 minutes they lied to us and made an iPad disappear. Yes, it is true that we are partly to blame for leaving it behind, but we did not leave it in a public place but in a room. This room belonged to us just 2 hours before the call. They knew who we were and the person who cleans the room has an OBLIGATION to leave it at reception and tell us which room we have so that the reception staff could call us since they had our contact information! We have the location of the iPad in the “find” app and it was there at that moment, in the hotel. They tell us that they have two iPads, one of them small and within 30 minutes they no longer had it. In short, they scammed us, they robbed us. Awful. I do not recommend it. If you have to stay at this hotel, please be VERY careful when leaving your room, check everything a thousand times.
18/10/2023: Do not use the parking lot of that hotel, the hotel parking lot has been stolen from us along with the parking lot, they give us the information that it costs 20 euros per night, two nights 40 euros, which is what we spent there, we are going to pay and no, what It is 40 per night, they tell us that we are right but that we should pay the 80 to get the car, the good thing is that we should pay 50 in cash without a ticket or anything and 30 with a card, we tell them, we are not going to be able to demonstrate the payment of 80, and he says, yes because I will say that it was like that, that we sent emails to an address and gave his name, that it was fixed, well no, we have no answer, he tells us there to trust the boy, that the rate was wrong and that They have to return 40 euros to us. Lie!! I'm going to publish it on all social networks, this is the first one!

01/04/2024: I have been a student at Paris 8 for a while but enough is enough, there is no way to leave an opinion on a Crous platform so I am doing it here hoping that it will reach someone from Crous. The staff really treats us like nothing. I held back several times from making a remark but when food is thrown in front of us, it’s actually no longer possible. They are all unpleasant but I would still particularly like to denounce the one in her forties with glasses who speaks to us in an extremely haughty and aggressive manner. each. times. and who allowed herself to swing, to aggressively throw the meals in front of us when she made the mistake between the packet of chips or the bottle of water. I can understand having a bad day but it's about not putting it on others, and it's not supposed to be every day either. Everyone I know at university has had bad experiences with the staff, especially her, and you can even hear the people in the queue talking about it. Being a student means wanting to enjoy your lunch break, and it would be really nice to have warmer and more cheerful staff, it makes life much more pleasant.
