12/09/2024: Thank you to the entire team who received us very well during the Olympics, not hesitating to change their opening hours to serve us even during set-up (with all due respect to some grumpy fans of immediate service).
Concerning the catering, delivery twice a day of fresh products cooked on site, the fries are homemade. The quality and quantity of the meat justifies for me a price of around twenty euros per dish. One dish suits me where I need two or three sandwiches in a big store right next door.
Good place to eat or have breakfast. The sea is missing, so one star less.

A volunteer from the Olympics is served (croissant coffee), the same CRS are served (3 coffees), knowing that the customers below came well after me....

I left without consuming, explaining to the bartender who deigned to speak to me that I was present well before the customers above and I do not wish to be served in view of the facts

I immediately informed my superiors of the facts that occurred.
In addition, the manager wanted to see me for an explanation, the message was passed by a colleague
However, if there was a real desire for an explanation, she would have moved given that we were close to her establishments....

20/08/2024: Because, another metro problem on line 13, and while waiting for the service to resume, we waited while having a drink at the end of the day, on the terrace, in front of the Basilica. Great kindness from the waiter and a big plus for the homemade chips.

14/12/2023: I wanted to share my opinion on my one-week stay, unfortunately I was not on vacation but visiting a loved one in intensive care in a hospital located near the hotel.
I am really satisfied with the week that I was able to spend at the Campanile, my stay there was pleasant and relaxing. The room is very correct and clean, redone every day without the slightest negligence. Breakfast is good and with plenty of choice. And above all, there is real tranquility there.
Above all, I would obviously like to thank the entire team who welcomed me during my stay, who are very professional, welcoming, and warm. There for the slightest request for information. It really made my stay easier, and I thank them for that.
The only negative point I would find with this hotel is unfortunately the location because it is not served by many shops nearby.
If I have to return to Paris, I would obviously come back to this hotel.
So maybe see you soon!

06/09/2024: Stopped here for late lunch on way to paralympics.
Food was good and hot. Came swiftly. Service and politeness, however, was appalling. Owner was grumpy. Kept talking/shouting to his staff& friends rather than paying any attention to us. It was empty so he had nobody else to serve. We received no greeting. Took ages to clear our table. We decided not to give them our custom for dessert or coffee.
05/08/2024: Na een avondje atletiek tijdens de Olympische Spelen, hier binnengewandeld.
Leuke sfeer, uiterst vriendelijke en enthousiaste bediening. Fijn als mensen hun job met plezier doen!
Wij kozen voor tartaar van zalm. Die was lekker, maar voor mij hoeven daar geen frietjes bij… Geen ramp: heb ze gewoon laten liggen. De tartaar op zich was lekker. De pizza’s zagen er ook wel lekker uit!

Jolie déco et terrasse à l'arrière.
Pas vraiment de concurrence dans le quartier et ça se ressent dans l assiette.
Gravlax de saumon qui se résume à 2 tranches qui baigne dans l'huile avec une tomate cerise coupé en deux, 16€ quand-même.
Salade césar avec du poulet archi cuit, pareil encore 16€.
Les pizzas... mieux vaut aimer plus la pâte que la garniture
Bref, 2 repas qui ne m ont pas emballé.
Il est préférable quand on peut de changer de quartier

19/08/2024: A friend found this restaurant while taking a stroll, and told us it was great. So we went as a group of 8 and sat on the terrace, right in front of the Basilica. It was hot outside, but the food and service were great. Overall, great experience! Whether you're here to see dead kings, or eat good food, this is very pertinent stop in Paris.

05/08/2024: TO FLEE !!! We came with 3 people, order taken quite quickly. Server who smells strongly of cigarettes.
Our friend was served in about 20 minutes then but we had to wait for our dishes for 40 minutes… our friend ate alone in front of us. The other 2 tables of 10 people were served before us….
My friend ordered a salmon rice with white butter…. We served him a salmon rice curry and tomato sauce...???
At the end of the meal, the waiter wanted to clear my plate while I was still finishing my dish.... Absorbed in his head by other things. The room was crowded but he took several cigarette breaks without washing his hands and immediately serving the plates to the customer...
The toilets were really dirty and impossible to wash your hands because there is no water in the tap... in short, to escape... we won't come back
05/08/2024: Waited for over half an hour for someone to take our order. Instead of an order the waitress came took our menus from our hand aggressively and stated they were closing. Staff was very rude

01/04/2024: I have been a student at Paris 8 for a while but enough is enough, there is no way to leave an opinion on a Crous platform so I am doing it here hoping that it will reach someone from Crous.
The staff really treats us like nothing. I held back several times from making a remark but when food is thrown in front of us, it’s actually no longer possible. They are all unpleasant but I would like to particularly denounce the one in her forties with glasses who speaks to us in an extremely haughty and aggressive manner. each. times. and who allowed herself to swing, to aggressively throw the meals in front of us when she made the mistake between the packet of chips or the bottle of water. I can understand having a bad day but it's about not putting it on others, and it's not supposed to be every day either. Everyone I know at university has had bad experiences with the staff, especially her, and you can even hear the people in the queue talking about it. Being a student means wanting to enjoy your lunch break, and it would be really nice to have warmer and more cheerful staff, it makes life much more pleasant.
