An adorable little inn, very pretty and tastefully decorated. My room is very functional, very clean and very pleasant. Everything is designed to welcome guests as best as possible: tea and coffee available in the room, bottles of water and small sweets on the bed.
The staff is smiling, friendly and very attentive.
A special mention for the boss, absolutely charming!
I ate the best pesto gnocchi of my life there, the chef is an ace. The table is excellent.
Finally, the hostel is ideally located, very close to the seaside.
In short, a little candy box at La Garde and a very good address, to keep and share!

26/07/2024: Top from start to finish. Service as good as the food. Thank you again for your welcome and congratulations to the chef. A small, masterful menu with fresh produce is just perfect. And what's more, the place is super nice with a pretty terrace overlooking the Coudon :o)

A quality menu, dishes with very subtle flavors and complete freshness.
The semi-cooked tuna is perfect. And the plates are copious.
There were 11 of us and everyone was delighted.
We will come back. THANKS
07/07/2024: Welcome just polite, order error, super long delay then, finally plate placed a good 5 minutes after the rest of the table without a word or even a look.
In short, even if the setting is nice and the cuisine is not bad, we need to take care of our relationships a little.

03/09/2024: We discovered your restaurant by chance while looking for where to have lunch in La Garde. We were welcomed and served quickly. The dishes were really good and of good quantity. We indulged in a little dessert and a coffee. The result is a very normal note: 1 Milanese veal escalope + 1 duck breast + a Coke + 1 coffee + a cup of two scoops of ice cream with extra whipped cream for €57.
I recommend the places.
29/08/2024: We were a little disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. At the beginning of the afternoon, we sat down for a drink, but after only 20 minutes, the landlady started to clean up the chairs and tables from the terrace, putting them inside without warning us. She then made us understand that she was going to close and that perhaps we should have chosen a nearby bar.
What is regrettable is that they did not hesitate to take our money without informing us from the start of the imminent closure. I would have really appreciated being warned in advance, rather than being presented with a fait accompli. This would have allowed us to enjoy our moment without this embarrassment. It's a shame, because this restaurant is well rated, but this experience does not encourage us to come back to taste the dishes.

However, we went there several times from the end of June until the last time in August. The team has changed and we feel it straight away.
3 hours to have dishes and desserts even though there were two children. Having gone there at lunchtime and in the evening, the observation on the service is the same.
The waiter we had prefers to dance and talk to girls. Good. It's a concept. The other servers are doing their best but something is wrong.
The menu has also changed a lot of choices but still a bit of the same thing.
On the other hand, the atmosphere within the restaurant via the decor and the television or the music remains authentic.

Very long wait to sit down at the table with almost obligatory aperitif, single menu, ordinary meal, no flavor, crude dish, no originality. For desserts, you would have to work with a real pastry chef, the staff lacks empathy. Property which generally lacks maintenance (broken terrace slats, broken terrace lighting, etc.)
We feel that this is a house which has known years of glory and which is now living an image that is now bygone. On the other hand, the setting is magnificent.
All for €280 for two with a bottle of wine. Lunar value for money!
We were extremely disappointed,
I do not recommend...

Ambiance un peu bruyante, mais le cadre est agréable
24/07/2024: Malgré la réponse du DG en 2020, rien n'a changé en 2024, bien au contraire, c'est pire: avec une chaleur de 30°, clim en panne à l'intérieur. Nous étions sept. On a du dîner dehors, sous la baffle dont le son nous empêchait de nous entendre parler (on a demandé à l'éteindre). Pas de bouteilles d'eau à l'arrivée. Entrecôtes calcinées au lieu d'à point" et "saignante", plus de pommes de terre au four après la 1ère, quelques frites (très bonnes par contre) dans un bol, avec un dé à coudre de ketchup, un steak tartare demandé non préparé mais servi préparé en filaments sans goût, tel une pâté pour chat, un double burger demandé mais servi en simple, un café allongé demandé mais servi en expresso. Seul point positif, avec les frites, les serveuses étaient très gentilles et assez attentives à nous. Le cuisinier devait avoir un problème ce jour là car tout, ou presque, était raté.
J'aimais beaucoup Buffalo Grill, mais là, vous ne nous verrez plus jamais!
