12/06/2026: Fine older, family operated hotel in a unique location. Restaurant is fantastic, but be sure to reserve in advance and take the time to consider the menu in advance!

02/06/2026: If there was a hotel star for hospitality, this hotel would have 5! We arrived at 9am, with 2 motorbikes and luggage, tired and hungry from an overnight ferry journey. Reception could not have been warmer: have some breakfast, private parking for the bikes and your room is ready. Now that is special. Hotel is charming and you will already know there is no lift: our room was as advertised and the best view of any hotel over Sanary Harbour. Rooms are excellent value for money. The restaurant (closed Tuesday) is easily the best place to eat in Sanary. This hotel is a real gem, run by a genuinely warm hotel family team. We cannot wait to return - and check in at a more normal time !

16/09/2026: We had a fantastic evening! 🥰 The welcome was amazing, with a lovely waitress who was incredibly attentive and accommodating. The cocktails were excellent, as was the food. And the atmosphere was so festive and friendly! We'll definitely be back! ✨🎉

11/08/2026: Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience. Upon arrival, the owner asked us to come back 20 minutes later. When we returned, she had clearly forgotten about us, although we were eventually able to be seated. We ordered mussels with Roquefort cheese, but to our surprise, the mussels arrived simply prepared in a marinière sauce, accompanied by a small bowl of Roquefort sauce to be shared between three people. The amount of sauce was therefore very small for a dish advertised as "mussels with Roquefort." When we pointed this out, we found the owner's reaction rather defensive, which unfortunately did not improve our impression. Another unpleasant surprise: we found a small worm in one of the mussels. This kind of discovery is obviously very unpleasant, especially in a restaurant and considering the rather high price of the bill. A €3 goodwill gesture was made, which we appreciated, even if it seemed rather meager considering the overall situation. On the other hand, we want to emphasize that the servers were truly excellent: pleasant, smiling, and professional. This had absolutely nothing to do with our disappointment regarding the rest of the experience. Unfortunately, it was a mixed experience, and especially disappointing considering the price paid.

04/09/2026: There were six of us, and we chose this restaurant because the menu had few dishes, which was reassuring because I thought that with so few options, we were sure to eat well. Unfortunately, it started badly. Three of us ordered the beef fillet. At €22.90, you'd expect the meat to be tender and flavorful, cooked rare. It was cheap meat, tough, very tough. One of us ordered the sea bass fillet at €28.50, and they offered him another fish at the same price; it was just as bad, not tasty. The other two had decent meals. The waiter never asked us if everything was alright. When he saw we'd finished, he asked if he could clear the table without even asking us once if we'd had enough. I asked him if he'd ever eaten beef fillet at his establishment, and he said no. I advised him against ordering it. I told him we hadn't enjoyed it at all and that the meat was tough. I don't remember ever eating so badly or having such poor service. I have doubts about the cleanliness of this restaurant. It was two hours ago, but for now, everything is fine, which is the main thing. As you can imagine, I advise against eating there.

01/09/2026: Very pleasant service. Generous, colorful, and flavorful dishes: cod. A small, friendly restaurant, not touristy.

18/09/2026: Takeaway pizzas with lots of flavor and generous toppings! Preparation time of 15 minutes in the evening. The Charentaise pizza was also delicious 😋

06/09/2026: I ordered seafood pasta when I saw "fresh pasta." Being a bit of a connoisseur, I can almost certainly say that the pasta wasn't fresh and was definitely overcooked. As for the seafood, it was just a bag from the freezer hastily added to a very mediocre sauce. Given the Google ratings, I'm struggling to understand. My partner ordered a pizza. The crust wasn't too bad, but aside from an astronomical amount of unspeakable, greasy cheese, that was it. In short, I'd rather eat at home than eat that.

27/08/2026: It's been a long time since I've eaten such a bad pizza. The tomato sauce tastes awful.

04/08/2026: The vegetarian pizza was sparsely topped, and the goat cheese and honey pizza had a bit too much cream. The crust, however, was very good. The service was impeccable and quick. Thank you for the friendly service.

05/09/2026: A lovely little restaurant on the port of Sanary. We received a warm welcome from the owner, who seated us at a table in the shade (which was very strong that day). We thoroughly enjoyed our meals: whole sea bream and mussels with Roquefort cheese (served with excellent fries). Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

05/09/2026: Friday evening, September 4th, 2026, the royal aioli menu was fantastic! It was accompanied by an additional course of mussels and an octopus stew (in red wine). Everything was perfect, and a special mention goes to the octopus stew (in red wine), it was wonderful! I'm eagerly awaiting the menu with octopus stew plus, for example, gnocchi. Highly recommended!
