Excellent meal and perfect service.
The waiter was very friendly, kind, and attentive.
31/12/2025: We had lunch as a family. The setting is lovely. The welcome and service were excellent. They were very accommodating of our food allergies. The various dishes were very good (burgers, venison stew). The wines were also very good and complemented the food perfectly. You can even buy them in the adjoining shop.
We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

10/12/2025: The welcome was excellent, and the rooms are spacious and pleasant.
19/09/2025: It's a seemingly abandoned hotel in the middle of nowhere. Upstairs, a long corridor leads to squalid rooms: the floor is dirty, dust has caked over the years in the telephone cords, and the bottom of the toilet bowl is brown. The room rate includes a breakfast that wouldn't even be served in a hospital. Ultimately, the value for money is disastrous.

23/08/2024: Cadre splendide. Plats Exquise. Mais carte limitée en choix. Boissons hors de prix. Service long, très long : 45 minutes pour se voir servir l'apéritif (2 coupes de champagne) et les "amuses bouche" servis encore 15 minutes plus tard. Dommage !
24/06/2024: Incredible place and service. We were super well received, and felt home. The rooms were wonderful and the surroundings of the abbaye as well!

17/08/2024: After wandering through the picturesque town of Tonerre, I decided to stop here after seeing an exciting set menu on a chalk board for €24 per person. The meal started out very well: the speedy service ensured I had my drink within 5 minutes and my starter within 10. This is where the real highlight of Le P’tit Gourmand was - the food. To start I had a delicious and exciting quiche de jambon et fromage with the crispiest and most buttery pastry you’ve ever tasted. What made this quiche unique was the perfect balance between the tanginess of the goat’s cheese and the saltiness of the ham. Following that I chose the filet mignon with potatoes and carrot purée. For me, this was the highlight of the meal: the filet mignon practically melted in my mouth and the balance between the earthiness of the carrot purée and potatoes with the richness of the filet mignon was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately it was at this point that the dining experience went downhill and the waiters seemed to lose interest in my table. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes before we asked for our table to be cleared away and for the dessert menu, despite several waiters walking past our table and seeing we were finished. For pudding, I had a tarte aux poires with vanilla ice cream, which was delicious and not too sweet which I appreciated. However, it was not enough to make up for the frankly poor service that I received. It’s really a pity because had the service lived up to the quality of food, this restaurant would really be something quite special and exciting. Instead, it feels like they are striving for something but can’t quite be bothered to get there. 3 stars.
15/08/2024: Found at random on a street and really good food. Top service and excellent cuisine. The beef is extraordinarily good 👍👍 Thanks to the whole team from the Nat's 😉😉
