29/08/2026: We had an absolutely amazing evening. What Chef Hidetachi Kurita and his wife (the only staff) conjure up and present is simply fantastic! The dishes and the sequence of the Japanese-European fusion menu (only €46, which usually costs at least twice as much for this quality) and the preparation were simply original, extremely refined, and precise. My highlights were the perfectly cooked (onsen) egg with mushroom espuma and the Andalusian-style octopus with a mashed potato crown. Every dish was a revelation, both in terms of taste and presentation. His wife, who runs the front of house, manages everything with absolute friendliness, courtesy, attentiveness, and professionalism. A fantastic experience that we highly recommend to all gourmets. In our opinion, this restaurant deserves a Michelin star and around 16 Gault Millau points. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Auxerre. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality and the excellent food! Definitely go – but make a reservation beforehand!

14/08/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our way back from vacation. Everything was perfect: the food, the service, and the ambiance were all top-notch. A bonus was the cool interior, even though it was 38 degrees outside. The whole family highly recommends it.

03/09/2026: Once again this year, we enjoyed the lunch menu. The kitchen and service are truly excellent. Starter: cake filled with pieces of salmon plus a small portion of salad; main course: moussaka with a good portion of salad; dessert: grilled pineapple in pineapple sauce with almond slivers and a portion of mascarpone. And all that for €17.90. Highly recommended. Wishing the owners success.

28/07/2026: The small village of Magny is very lucky to have this wonderful traditional restaurant, which also serves as a vibrant local hub (newsstand, tobacconist). Simple cuisine, but crafted with love. Plus, fantastic local wines from Martin Barbieux in Vézelay. Bravo for everything you do...

04/07/2026: A village atmosphere, a unique bistro, cool and inviting under the pergola. A peaceful, timeless retreat. But above all, it's a wonderful encounter with the owner/cook. If you're charging your car at the Avallon supercharger...don't hesitate, skip the Ibis and come here!

26/08/2026: The hotel is well-located and easily accessible. The welcome was very professional, even for a late arrival. The restaurant is pleasant, with the gentleman in the kitchen and the lady serving. The menu is refined and original, with helpful advice on wine pairings and excellent service. The only drawback was the 140cm bed.

22/08/2026: Impeccable staff and service at an affordable price. As a disabled person, they met all my needs. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, which is separate and accessible without steps or stairs, and includes a mini buffet on trays. Highly recommended.

20/05/2026: My partner and I went there last night. We live 5km away, and I had never been before. Based on some of the reviews, I went with mixed feelings. But what better way to form your own opinion than to eat there? We received a very warm welcome. The two young men serving that evening were great. The dishes were very good, not particularly generous at first glance, but I certainly didn't leave hungry...far from it. For the price: reasonable for a restaurant with a nice ambiance. I've eaten in much more ordinary restaurants, both in terms of food and decor, and paid more. So don't rely on other people's reviews, whether positive or negative...go and form your own opinion...like I did.
