18/02/2026: The menu was very good, but the portions weren't sufficient (especially the lamb chop; there should have been at least two for the price of the dish).
A small comment to the chef, who justified the portion size by saying it was cooked thoroughly (but a raw lamb chop rarely weighs 150g of meat on its own without the bone).
Also, there was no "classic" meat dish for those who don't like lamb or red mullet (squab wasn't included in the menu). Scallops are an option if you're not allergic. Ultimately, you're mainly paying for the restaurant's beautiful setting, as we were left wanting more.
17/02/2026: Excellent evening. The welcome, food, and wines were all of very high quality.
A real pleasure for this relaxing break.
We will gladly return.

07/08/2026: What arrogance! We have been calling, calling, and calling since the day before yesterday.
The phone isn't answered, and there is no option to leave a message on an answering machine either.
We just arrived in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne (by boat), and the terrace was full for lunch.
We told them that we hadn't been able to reach them by phone for two days to make a reservation for lunch today.
The gentleman said: I am too busy to answer the phone.
That is why we asked on the spot if there would still be a table for 2 people available this evening.
Everything turned out to be full, and he said: just go make a reservation at the pizzeria (???).
What terrible hospitality: not answering the phone and directing us to a pizzeria.
You don't feel welcome at all.
That is surely not how you treat potential guests.
Apparently, he can get away with this.
However, I do hope that this gentleman realizes that times can change.
We are not going to try again. He won't be bothered by us anymore. Disgusting experience!
06/08/2026: A real gem! A warm and welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and absolutely delicious food. Everything is homemade, with quality ingredients and plenty of flavor. You feel right at home among friends, in a charming setting. A place to discover without hesitation… and one you'll already want to return to!
