I booked the upstairs space for a going-away party. It was really lovely, the upstairs area is very cozy. It feels a bit like a room at home when you don't have room for a large gathering. The welcome was also fantastic, with excellent service. There was always someone upstairs to take and bring our orders.

01/04/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance in the middle of the market, drawn in by the sunny terrace. I snagged a free table without having to wait. And what a surprise! The restaurant, a victim of its own success, was quickly booked up (and understandably so, remember to reserve 😅). The menu is excellent, generous, and high-quality. And the price is more than reasonable! Pictured here is a homemade cordon bleu and a praline tiramisu. It was superb, I had a wonderful time, and the staff is very attentive, which is really nice. Thank you so much!
27/03/2026: Having received no response to the message I sent to the restaurant after my visit, I am taking the liberty of sharing my experience here.
On Saturday, March 14th, while dining with six friends, I found a piece of glass in a glass of chocolate mousse served with my gourmet coffee. When I brought it to my mouth, I cut my palate, and I noticed some bleeding at the table.
The staff apologized, and the dessert was not charged. However, I am very surprised that no more serious action or follow-up was offered, given the seriousness of the situation.
I was also astonished that the issue of payment even arose in such a context.
As a long-time customer and resident of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, this experience was more than disappointing.
I sincerely hope that this incident will be taken seriously and that the necessary measures will be implemented to prevent such a situation from happening again.

18/11/2025: We received a very poor welcome from the woman who worked there on Tuesday evening. We wanted to buy e-cigarette liquid, and unfortunately, they didn't accept credit cards for purchases under €10, which isn't a big deal in itself. But then we asked if there were any other tobacco shops open, and she politely replied, "Yes, you'll have to look for yourself." So much for friendliness!

17/03/2026: Arrived on March 16th at 9:15 PM, the welcome was appalling, barely acceptable. The receptionist didn't seem motivated to show us the buffet. The buffet was meager and didn't look fresh. No prices were displayed, and there was no one to greet us. We left to eat at another establishment.
Room 9 was 16 degrees Celsius with a non-functional reversible air conditioner. We then discovered a small heater on the desk, a small heater with a timer. We noticed the absence of soap in the two places where soap would normally be available (shower and sink). Under the bed, there was a fork—dirty? Dusty?
Exhausted, I returned to reception where a very kind young man directed me to the manager. Finally, we were given room 21, where there was soap at 11:30 PM.
07/03/2026: I'm currently staying at the Campanile, room 105.
Okay, it smells of fresh paint, but the rooms have been recently renovated and are clean. The furniture is nice, and the bed is comfortable. Parking is easily accessible (electric vehicle charging station).
The welcome is incredibly warm.

21/08/2024: Those who say bad things about it are lying 👍🏼
I go there very often, it's the best kebab in Saint Germain (and I assure you that I know a lot about kebab)
the boss and his colleagues are ADORABLE and very helpful, the dishes are quality, the atmosphere is nice and the place is large. During Ramadan, they offered me delicacies from Tunisia, to illustrate. I really recommend it, they deserve to be rewarded for the work they do!

25/05/2024: Very nice discovery... a dream terrace on a quiet pedestrian square... beautiful restaurant menu... amazing burgers with homemade fries etc.... I highly recommend
