14/10/2026: What can I say... I'm a salesman, so I'm always on the road, and we have a lot of restaurant contacts. This crêperie came along by chance on my route, and ever since, whenever I pass through Houdan, it's a must-stop for dinner. The atmosphere, the smiles, the kindness, and the galettes, crêpes, etc. Everything is top-notch. I highly recommend it.

The staff is incredibly attentive, always smiling and caring. You can feel their genuine kindness, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. As for the atmosphere, it's a truly cozy, warm, and welcoming haven where you immediately feel at ease. A wonderful discovery, both in terms of the food and the service. 27/08/2026: Hello everyone. Personally, I absolutely do not share all these compliments! We had lunch yesterday. Everything seemed very basic to me. And there was absolutely no flavor. The worst part...!!! Each table is presented with a chalkboard listing the €28 menu. So we choose the one above, and the waiter tells us there's the catch of the day... without any further explanation. So we order this dish. To be honest, it has no taste whatsoever. When it comes time to pay, for two €28 menus and a bottle of homemade sparkling water, we're told the total is €87.50. This price is deducted from the menu because the catch of the day, advertised as the dish of the day... is not actually on the menu. I think we should have been warned... otherwise, it's a trap, a scam, and theft. The cashier wouldn't hear of it, and if they trick you, how many tables a day? It's a goldmine! €87.50 for a mushroom starter, an egg swimming in corn sauce, and the famous catch of the day: a mackerel fillet with couscous or bulgur wheat...? And two floating islands! That's very expensive!!!! Disappointing... appalling...

As for the food, it's simply exceptional: flavorful, beautifully presented, and worthy of the experience. There's really not much more to say: if you want to have a wonderful time enjoying excellent cuisine, book a table at this restaurant without hesitation. A place I highly recommend! 👌

16/08/2026: Another fantastic experience. My absolute favorite restaurant. Never disappointed, from the welcome and service to the quality of the food. I highly recommend it. Special mention for the hot stone grills. And the spritzes, of course! 😁

10/10/2026: For traditional French food accompanied by great service and a large selections of wines, this is your spot. It’s laid back, relaxing, and friendly. Go with the 3 course meal, and pick any dish that day that resonates with you. Try some wines to go with your meal. It a casual French traditional experience that will fit your bill. Tips: rsvp if you can not absolutely required but recommended. Get a bottle of wine if you know what you like, else try a few glasses. Don’t be shy, restaurant is friendly.

29/09/2026: We randomly decided to try Juliette as it’s the busiest place in the area. Turned out to have the best croissant I ever had! So buttery and fluffy with a sweet glaze. Very very friendly and nice owner/staff, lovely seating outside and inside. Coffee and cake were good too. Overall the best cafe experience we had in Paris

19/09/2026: A fantastic discovery! La Chouette in Cernay la Ville is definitely worth a visit. It's a place where everything comes together: a pleasant setting, a warm atmosphere, a top-notch welcome, and above all, excellent cuisine. The dishes are carefully prepared, generous, and bursting with flavor. But a special mention goes to the ambiance, the quality of the artists, and the show! Special thanks to the team led by Tony, who are always smiling, professional, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. In short, a place I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return. 👌 Bravo to the entire team at La Chouette! 🦉❤️

09/09/2026: Drawn in by the storefront and decor on my way back from Gare de Lyon, I stopped in quite by chance, and what a pleasant surprise! A small menu, everything is homemade, the staff is lovely, the steak tartare with its baby potatoes is divine, and a special mention goes to the bread, which is truly exceptional. A little gem!

25/07/2026: Excellent meal. I had the lamb shank, which was perfectly prepared. A generous portion, just the way we like it. The cocktail was also very good. I highly recommend it. And to top it all off, the staff was very friendly 😃 and the setting was pleasant.

20/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise! Beyond the attention paid to accessibility for people with disabilities, the owner is a radiant and very friendly person! The owner too ;) As for the food, it's so rare these days to find homemade and delicious food that our taste buds were delighted. We'll be back!

04/10/2026: We discovered Le Donjon in Houdan as a couple thanks to a Smartbox gift voucher, and we had a truly wonderful time. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the food delicious. A great find that we're delighted to have made, and a place we'll gladly return to.
