13/04/2026: A great spot right by the sea, with a setting that’s hard to beat. Sandy streets of le Racou I mean it's already great. Menje Ecaille has that relaxed, beachside energy. Simple, lively, and easy to enjoy. The seafood is fresh and well prepared, with some dishes really standing out. You can tell the products are good, and when it hits, it hits right. Service is friendly and the atmosphere does a lot of the work. Sitting there, with the sound of the water and the light at the end of the day, it’s exactly where you want to be. The only downside is the price, which feels a bit high for what’s on the plate. Some places are about perfection. This one is about the moment and it still delivers.

All that passion for cooking you shared with me, our conversations over a speakeasy, about your desires and your sharing… you're truly one of a kind… a character… and I'm going to miss that. My thoughts are with your children and your lovely young daughter who, if she so chooses, will keep your memory alive on the plate and in the atmosphere of your little restaurant…

05/04/2026: It's a shame, the location on the port is pleasant but we agree with some other reviews, the service was slow (with a lady), we left hungry (starter/main/dessert) and the quality was average, some dishes were reheated...

21/12/2025: A simple and good aperitif dinner. Impeccable service. Recommended off-season.
