25/04/2026: Wow! What a find! It's SO GOOD! We celebrated our 25th anniversary and honestly, the menu, oh my God... the chef deserves a Michelin star, period! The staff is fantastic. Very friendly! I recommend it without hesitation.
24/04/2026: In my opinion, one of the best and most visited restaurants in Perpignan.
It is especially at lunch that there is a demand for the menu of the day, and if you want to be sure of getting a seat, you should remember to reserve a table.
It is always a pleasure for both the eyes and the taste buds to be served the beautiful dishes that the kitchen creates.
If you are satisfied with the lunch, you should also try to come by in the evening... it is truly a fantastic experience.
Highly recommended as a really good restaurant to visit when you come to Perpignan.

24/03/2026: Found by chance, a very good restaurant, the food was bursting with freshness, and the waiter and owner were very friendly. No wait at all despite the restaurant being full. Unbeatable value for money. Highly recommended.
21/03/2026: Second visit to this establishment and once again delighted with the experience. This time, we opted for the set lunch menu (starter/main/dessert) for €20.50. The quality of the meal at this price was incredible. The service was professional and well-managed as well. We will definitely be back.

21/09/2025: A wonderful discovery at Le Barcarès. The venue is very pleasant, with a dining room and veranda. The prices are very affordable, with an all-inclusive menu, from aperitifs to coffee. The cuisine is carefully prepared and beautifully presented, with top-quality ingredients and generous portions. In short, everything was perfect. A special mention goes to the young student waitress we spoke to: she was efficient, professional, charming, and very friendly. This also contributed to the success of the meal.

13/04/2026: A great spot right by the sea, with a setting that’s hard to beat. Sandy streets of le Racou I mean it's already great.
Menje Ecaille has that relaxed, beachside energy. Simple, lively, and easy to enjoy. The seafood is fresh and well prepared, with some dishes really standing out. You can tell the products are good, and when it hits, it hits right.
Service is friendly and the atmosphere does a lot of the work. Sitting there, with the sound of the water and the light at the end of the day, it’s exactly where you want to be.
The only downside is the price, which feels a bit high for what’s on the plate.
Some places are about perfection.
This one is about the moment and it still delivers.

25/09/2024: A little disappointed for a first meal in this restaurant. The description of certain dishes is promising, beautiful presentation but the taste is not there, for example the langoustines émultion café: we are looking for the taste of coffee as light as it is, brunoise steamed vegetables (not mentioned in the description) without taste or seasoning, candied leeks announced but in fact 3 mini pieces of barely snacked and almost raw leeks, fortunately the 3 langoustines were well cooked but did not save the dish charged with a supplement on the menu (announced). Fortunately, very tender squid fricassee and good bouillabaisse. On the other hand, Baba au rhum with a baba dough which is not real and not soaked. And finally the wine ordered was no longer available but we only found out by asking for it once the dishes were served. The price on the other hand is right there.
